We had to change vacation plans at the last minute and found this condominium online. We stayed in Room 909 which is a limited mobility room. Although we didn't need that type of room it looked well decorated and was within our price range since it is an efficiency so we booked it anyway. The room is small and would...

We stayed in Condo 407... its fantastic... even the staff nick named it the marble palace... Super clean and updated furniture in all the rooms... The view of the beach walk over and the beach is perfect from the 4th floor and you get to watch the cruise ships coming and going from the bay... there is also good fishing...

7th floor small 1 bedroom 1 bath condo for our family of 4 was great. 2 adults & 2 kids under 10. Kids on the queen sleeper sofa & parents in the king size bed in the bedroom. We were all cozy & felt very at home here. The Islander is an older building, so it shows its age in...

I've stayed at the Islander East Condos on the separate occasions and have always enjoyed my stay there. The most awesome feature is the fact that I have direct access to the beach, without having to get in my car and get sand everywhere. I also get to enjoy my morning balcony view with a morning cup of coffee, and...

ISLANDER EAST CONDOMINIUMS - DISAPPOINTING We stayed in Unit 216 in June 2015, as we have done for the past 4 years. This is a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit. The unit has new owners who have done some updating. However, all closets with the exception of one were locked which meant there was no storage for suitcases or beach...

This was our 4th year to stay at the Islander East with my parents, and the 4th year to stay in unit #216. The good things: It has direct beach access without having to cross a busy road with young kids to get to the beach. The unit has been redone, with nice tiled showers and updated bathrooms, granite kitchen...

Great direct beach access, decent outdoor pool. Some units are better than others but perfect location. Not many condos are directly on the beach but this one is! If you like tennis, nice courts upfront with excellent parking too. Private, sort of secluded condos and quiet!

Islander East is a great simple condo for those who want a full Gulf view on the East end of Galveston. Each unit has a balcony to relax on. Condos are individually owned, about 30 yrs old, with various degrees of owner updates. Rent from the website, this is a good value. Prices will vary by seadon, local events, 2...

Is this the nicest Condo you're ever going to to stay at? Depends on your budget. For the price, my wife and I found it clean and acceptable. It has direct access to the beach, and it feels like a private beach because so few people use it the bed was comfortable, and the room we stayed in was very...

This was our 4th year at the Islander East, our 3rd year with children and grandchildren. We stay in Unit #216 which is a 3 bedroom/3 bath unit. This is a fabulous unit. The kitchen is nicely stocked, the bathrooms have all been upgraded and the sleeper sofa in the living area is new with a comfortable bed. The boardwalk...
