Over the last five years seven of my good friends and I have gathered at our ranch in the Texas Hill Country. We have had spa days, spent hours shopping in Fredericksburg, toured the Texas wineries, had memorable meals in many restaurants in the area, and spent time on the San Antonio River Walk. This year we had what we... More

Rollie treated us to an incredible class using recipes from her cookbook. Her kitchen is perfect for this. Because of her organization there is no wasted time in an atmosphere that is cozy, relaxing, and FUN! I was with a group of seven high school friends. Those who wanted to help with the cooking took part, while others relaxed and... More

We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We wanted to go somewhere quiet, peaceful, and secluded; Stony Ridge Ranch was perfect! We stayed in the guest house and spent most of our time relaxing by a fire while watching the wildlife through the windows. Would definitely recommend.

I have been to Stony Ridge Ranch twice now and would highly recommend it! The peace and quiet makes it easy to disengage from the fast pace of life, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the hospitality only makes you want to come back for more. Rollie prepared a wonderful healthy breakfast each morning, and she is so accomodating... More

Stony Ridge is the perfect place for a quiet, peaceful getaway. My husband and I have been there 6 times and I"ve done a sisters' weekend too. Steve and Rollie, the owners, make you feel welcome and Rollie's breakfasts and grazing platters are absolutely wonderful. It is so peaceful sitting on one of the many porches with a glass of... As I write this, I selfishly fear that you may book dates that we may want! Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share details about our Stony Ridge Ranch experience... Years ago, my husband and I realized that we needed to focus on our relationship. We are blessed with two wonderful teenage boys and rewarding (yet very demanding) careers but before... More

Stony Ridge Ranch is every bit as beautiful, peaceful and delicious as previous reviewers have shared. As a marketer by trade, I was honestly skeptical that any venue could live up to the sentiments shared by former reviewers. But from the moment I reached out to Rollie about scheduling my trip, I was thoroughly overwhelmed with her desire to provide... More

Rollie and Steve have worked hard to make this an absolute haven for both couples and individuals like me seeking refuge and relaxation in the Hill Country. My recent stay was for a personal retreat, and Rollie made sure each day that I was happy and cared for. My stay in the Lily Peaches cabin (whose name isn't so dorky... More

After our second visit to Stony Ridge Ranch, we want to say how relaxing and restorative our stays have been. Rollie and Steve are terrific hosts; the breakfasts are stellar; and the accommodations are tastefully and thoughtfully appointed (with great book selections). The ranch is located in a beautiful setting, there's bird (and deer) watching, and lovely walks right on... More
