We were attending a family event and decided to pamper ourselves rather than stay at the nearby event hotel. We were not disappointed. The room was large, with comfortable furniture and a large, well lit bathroom. This was my first time at the St. Regis in Houston and I was not disappointed. The staff was very courteous and professional, greeting me by name on every encounter. This is a great hotel, and I will be returning for many visits as I am in Houston frequently.

Located in a quiet area that allows for a restful sleep yet convenient to the Galleria and the freeway. Staff are professional, efficient and friendly. Would be pleased to stay again. Meeting rooms are functional and comfortable. Breakfast at the restaurant is delicious and efficiently served.

From the moment you arrive, the staff can not do enough to help make your stay with them a pleasant one. From the doorman to the front desk, they are constantly taking care of your personal needs to make sure you have an enjoyable experience. Also , the food in their restaurant is exceptional.

The initial interaction with the doorman probably tainted our experience. After having to unload all of our luggage while he watched, he then proceeded to try and be overly friendly in a manner which was obviously to try and obtain a tip - but for what? Hotel was nice, rooms were well appointed and the staff very attentive. Only was there a single night, but it was a very comfortable stay. Did not dine at the hotel, so cannot comment ont he food and food service.

We've enjoyed fabulous stays at St. Regis hotels in the past and weren't disappointed with our stay in Houston. While it lacks the opulence of many of its sister properties, the hotel has understated luxury throughout. Everything was perfect! The staff are excellent, from the desk agents to the housekeepers to the waitstaff. Breakfast was excellent, especially when this is a free Platinum amenity. I would definitely return.
