The hotel was very nice and new. It's not in a tourist area per say but its centrally located to everything. You will need a car if staying at this location to get around. There are numerous restaurants in the area.

This Marriott hotel, hard on Interstate 10 in West Houston, is more on the caliber of an excellent 2.5 star hotel or a decent 3. To me, a 4 star hotel should be well staffed, have an elegant lobby, cushy bed, elegant furnishings, etc.. This hotel was quite basic -- a relatively small lobby that opens onto a sports bar... This was my home away from home for 4 days and I had a grand time. I received a friendly welcome from my first day of visit and during my stay I was always treated like I was special. I will definitely stay here again.

We spend 3 nights here. The reservation was made under Platinum Elite which is the highest loyalty member for Marriott. We didn't get upgraded to the club floor but we got the club privilege. My only complain that the receptionist didn't say that "Sir, all club rooms and/or suites are all booked and not available but we appreciate your loyalty".... More

This is probably one of the newer full service Marriott properties in town. The location is convenient to West side of town. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Rooms are standard Marriott. I was graciously upgraded to a corner suite, and despite being right next to the large highway, was relatively quiet. The only unusual aspect of this room was... More

I spend a week a month in Houston and have for the last 8 years. I've stayed at various Marriotts throughout the city. This hotel is fairly new and is nice. But if you're one to walk about and explore after work you will be disappointed. Terrible location, but they make up for it with decent on site food and... More

Stayed at this property for three nights and the staff was very hospitable and courteous. The room was clean and decent-sized with no hot water problem in the bathroom. Interstate noise can be heard very well in front or Acura dealer facing rooms. Bed was comfortable and a/c kept the room pretty cool but didn't do a good job of... More

Make sure to check on events being hosted on 10th floor before you book your stay. You can hear everything even below on 8th floor and over traffic noise. Party ended at midnight and we could hear tables and chair being put up for another couple of hour. Staff, food, rooms, pool, and amenities were awesome! Will look for location... More

Stayed here for one night on business. I asked for a quiet room since this hotel sits next to the freeway. The front desk agent was kind enough to upgrade me to a corner suite (perks of being a loyal Marriott customer) and the room was great. While I was here I took advantage of the concierge lounge (great service)... More
