The place is intriguing and the owner with her family help are amazing. Each room is unique in its own way. The greenhouse courtyard that is the entry to every room is just fabulous and gorgeous. Rooms are cozy and clean. The location for this town is great cause you are set off the main road enough the train gets... More

Eve's is a mecca or sorts. Though its in the high West Texas desert, its an unlikely refuge on the literal edge of town. Once you're there you'll see its 'backyard' is basically the entire rest of the desert. The food is astounding...fresh, creative and healthy. The entire place is made of papercrete and looks like a colorful moroccan village... More

This place is amazing!! There are a lot of different rooms and everything is uniquely decorated. There is a draft-beer system for every guest to enjoy and the a lot of really cool common areas. The rooms are equally perfect! Really clean and well put together. Breakfast was really good too. I would definitely recommend this unique place!

If you have a gypsy spirit this place is for you. Technicolor is the best way to describe the decor. The breakfast was outstanding, but wasn't served until 9, which is pretty late if you're driving in to Big Bend.

Stumbled upon this place when traveling to Big Bend with my dad. The place itself is unique and colorful and somewhat castle inspired with its rounded doorways. I really enjoyed all of the beautiful art and the greenhouse/garden in the common area. The Breakfast was incredible and healthy! Really wouldn't mind getting a cook book from this chef!

Unusual B&B. Much of it built by the owners. Pretty indoor gardens, a lap pool. Unusual and pretty rooms. The food was outstanding. Complimentary snacks, coffee, beer. Owners very nice. Not a lot to do in Marathon, but a relatively short drive to other attractions in the area.

I had the good fortune to stay at Eve's Garden for a month recuperating on crutches from an injury. In that time period I got to meet all of the guests who traveled through and got to share in their enjoyment of Kate, Alaine and Noble's unique and marvelous creation. Having lived on ranches in the Big Bend for 28... More

So we ended up at Eve's Garden because we could not get to our room on Sproul Ranch. Everything was booked up until we found Eve's Garden. Kate, the owner and host, was fantastic. She is very warm and hospitable. This B&B is originally a house and greenhouse that has been converted to a B&B. You walk into your room... More

My friend and I stayed in the Lotus Suite. We each had our own bed and shared the bathroom. The room was very cool and comfortable in spite of the Texas heat. The gardens had many blooming flowers and vegetables. We were there two nights and enjoyed fabulous and filling breakfast accompanied by excellent coffee. The host made a special... More

The place is as eclectic as they get but then it is Marathon. The whole town has a great appeal to those who dote on the magic of silly. The place was very clean and friendly. A good choice for persons wanting to stop over near big Bend.
