A must stop for all travellers to the Big Bend area of Texas where you will experience great views of the stars and milky way while relaxing in the warm waters of the springs. A place of great serenity and shalom!

This is definitely out of the way-- definitely a destination. After camping several days in Big Bend State Park we certainly enjoyed the soaks in the hot springs! The cabins/rooms are quaint and much to my liking. All Southwestern stylings as you would expect being on the border! There is a communal kitchen and dining hall with all that you...

If you feel like getting away from it all and soaking in a natural hot spring in the middle of a gorgeous canyon then you have to try this place. If you want WiFi, breakfast buffets, Free HBO, and a business center - this is not your place. The property managers are super friendly and nice, the grounds/rooms/kitchen are clean,...

So glad you enjoyed it. I am guessing that you stayed in the El Patron. Since you were here last, we remodeled the El Patron. Hopefully my new pictures will get updated soon. Come back to see us

This was a wonderful experience. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. The fellow travelers were interesting, friendly and agreeable folks from many different places, though fellow Austinites abounded! It was a marvelous place with the redone adobe accommodations , the shared kitchen and hikes available right from the property. The property was well maintained and very green. Getting off the...

Looks like a cool place but beware - the website is very out of date re: prices and who knows what else. Refers to an availability link and Paypal module, but there isn't one - you need to call. Kinda frustrating if you trip-plan from website info and then find out the $85. cabin is actually $129.

We are having trouble updating our website. Yes the cheap cabins are no longer cheap. We added bathrooms and showers on them. The el corizon that was 85.00 will be 129.00 but it is not even open yet. The other cabin is 115.00. We do not have the capability to do reservations through our website that is why you have...

Chinati has always been an oasis, but now it is a complete, colorful and very friendly place. Diane and her crew have been making needed repairs as well as upgrades to the entire place. They are looking ahead to create a high end experience for all comers. From fine linens, to colorful cabins, to patios and walkways. They are responsive...

Chinati is everything you could want, if you want to escape the hectic world around you. This is a truly back to nature experience all the way around. It's quiet- SO quiet. Almost spooky quiet for a city slicker. It's like camping, but with all the modern amenities- sans cell service. Which- let's be honest- you NEED to get away...

Sweet little spot in the middle of nowhere. The cool pool has incredible views and is quite refreshing. The warm pool and indoor tubs are inviting and very relaxing. The grounds are perfectly kept. My room was rustic, yet charming. My only complaint was that I awoke in the middle of the night being very hot and uncomfortable. Only to...

I am glad you had a good time but I am sorry that you woke up hot. I do have a mattress cover that zips around the whole mattress but I also have a cloth one on top. I put these on to protect against bed bugs and also from damage from guests wetting the bed. These keep the mattresses...

My husband and I stayed here after tent camping for four nights at Chisos Basin in Big Bend NP. We were booked to stay three nights in "El Presidente" but received a message from Mattie, the caretaker, that there was a plumbing problem. Since we had already taken down our campsite I let Mattie know we were headed there anyway....
