Had the opportunity to visit my friend who stayed here overnight. What a find!..Lovely decorated modern room...at a great rate of $145. Fantastic fireplace to sit around and sip champagne & eat chocolate & strawberries. Next door gift shop delightful with the BEST bottled pickles! I recommend the Olives & Feta cheese as well as Bread & Butter pickles...very reasonably...

Wonderful place for adults only. Unique rooms with special touches, large porch and outdoor fireplace. The bed is wonderful. Quiet complex, Homemade wonderful warm cookies in your room each day. The store located on this property offers coffee, wine, specialty, quick cooked there foods. The shop has very tasteful stuff with some high end and average priced items. Cigars, wine,...

We visited at the coldest weather of the year, but found a warm welcome. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed. The outdoor upper fireplace is really nice for an evening chat. The next door shop is fun - wish it was a restaurant, too. There's not a lot to do in Matagorda! All the beds are queen size.

Excellent accommodations, good campaign and flowers room service, and wonderfully cosy feel. Good romantic getaway spot. The beds are soft, outdoor fireplace romantic, and a short distance to the beach and Spoonbills. I'd suggest requesting an upstairs room, the breeze and view are wonderful.

They were the most expensive with the least amenities but we had no choice. No Fridge, no Microwave, Small room. The only thing they had going for the place was the nice...
