Magical stay at Las Lagunas. Property is beautiful and the setting lovely. Restaurant menu limited but very good. Rooms private and well appointed. Take Monkey Island tour, go for a hike or enjoy the natural setting. Excursions to Mayan ruins and nearby Flores worthwhile. What really sets Las Lagunas apart is the friendly and professional staff -- so warm and...

We spent 3 nights at this gorgeous hotel, located in front of a lake and jungle all around. 60m2 of bungalow on the water, plus terrace and water front jacuzzi. All staff treat you as a VIP customer. We had to cancel one night at the very end and they did not charge us. No end swimming pool in front...

Though only 15 minutes from the Flores Airport, Las Laguna feels worlds away, offering luxurious, private accommodations on a small lake in the middle fl the jungle. each unit is a separate cabana on stilts, with a private screened porch (with hot tub) affording great views for birdwatching, with the howler monkeys often screeching in the background. The staff was...

From the first second you walk in the front door you are surrounded by breathtaking views of the lagoon and untouched nature. Each room is like a small house built on stilts with incredible views and privacy. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The rooms feel very new and in great shape. The food in the restaurant was great...

The hotel is conveniently located about 15 minutes from the Flores airport, the jumping off point for Tikal. It is on a large piece of lakeside property, reached via a private gated road; the hotel itself has only a few rooms, and they consist of individual chalets with views of the lake. An infinity pool also has views of the...

I have been in many fine hotels throughout the world and Las Lagunas has moved to the top of my list. It is extraordinary beautiful and serene. The staff is most welcoming, friendly and helpful. It was the most perfect way to end my fabulous trip to Guatemala.

Las Lagunas is the perfect combination of close to the city of Flores (15 min from the airport) and secluded on a private lake in the jungle. If you are planning a trip to Tikal National Park or other Mayan sites, you must stay here. It was opened in 2012, so it is very new. Not "modern", but a wonderful...

The room was spacious, and well appointed, if not luxurious. The lodge was filled with Mayan antiques, and looked out over an infinity pool, the lake. Food was beautifully presented, and enormously flavorful. The staff was extremely well trained. Everyone went out of their way to accommodate and was always extraordinary cheerful
