Rafaelhoteles Forum Alcala is a four-star hotel located 5 minutes walking from the main tourist attractions of Alcala de Henares (World Heritage Site). The hotel features very attractive facilities: a wide hall with natural light, the lobby bar, an attractive restaurant with international gastronomy and a special garden terrace. But the best of the hotel is the penthouse terrace, open in Summer: great views of the city, drinks, a plunge pool or loungers. The hotel has 132 design and fully equipped rooms: WiFi, flat TV, work desk, digital safe, minibar and bathroom. Also it has three suites with jacuzzi. Rafaelhoteles Forum Alcala is the perfect hotel to celebrate any kind of event: car presentations, conferences, concerts, meetings or trade shows. The main hall has a wide space of 400 m2 with natural light and direct exit to the garden terrace (ideal for cocktails). Also the hotel can celebrate weddings, banquets, communions and personal celebrations. In addition, the hotel has eight meeting rooms with capacities between 10 and 150 attendees with natural light. Welcome to Alcalá de Henares, welcome to Rafaelhoteles Forum Alcala.

As we've got a toddler we opted for a suite, which was extremely spacious and quiet. The only downside was that there was no door to the bathroom so we had to make sure the TV was turned up to full volume when one of us went to the bathroom (we are English, after all). The

The location is not bad at all - within 15 minutes you are in the town of Alcala De Henares with all its shops, restaurants and various sights to see. As well as a supermarket literally a 2 min walk down the road - very useful as the rooms do not provide water bottles. The

Fantastic stay. Very comfortable. Nice staff. Friendly. Everything was good. It could have been perfect but for one thing. I booked a double room and selected a double bed but they only had 2 single beds. Upgraded to superior for a small cost with terrace and Jacuzzi bath.

Hi Carolyn, I'm sorry but I can't be much help. I was at this hotel as part of a package therefore my journey from the hotel was by coach. What I can tell you is that it's quite a long journey and very slow mid morning. However, I do know that there is a local train ,the stop only five minutes walk from the hotel. That journey taking you into Madrid city. I suggest you look at Google maps where you can see local train routes. With luck there will be one that can get you to the airport.

Do you have free parking? How far the train station to Madrid? How long is the train ride to Madrid?
My advice was to catch a bus from the airport to Alcala de Henares. I asked the bus driver to tell me when we got there (helps if you speak Spanish, which I don't!) and he was very kind. The bus stopped very close to the hotel. The fare was reasonable. Julia
