Planned to stay for one night however due to storms affecting the ferry service we ended up staying for 3 nights which was a real bonus for us. Our delightful hosts were very helpfull and made us feel welcome throughout. The location is amazing, the room superb and the en-suite one of the best I have come across in a...

Whilst this B&B is probably the furthest from Scalasaig, the main settlement on the island, it is well worth it. The scenic journey takes about 15 mins from Scalasaig and is a typical of single track road to Kiloran Bay with room to give way to oncoming traffic when needed. After that there is a section of narrower ascending twist...

Utterly peaceful at end of of a narrow lane, but top marks for everything there. The room had every comfort and the breakfast was first rate. A really good find at a very reasonable rate, on an island where accommodation is often hard to come by.

Comfy and very clean room, well cooked breakfast from a good selection, friendly host, good wifi. We were really happy with this B and B and would definitely stay again. The only thing I could possibly fault was the hair dryer which lacked oomph and heat. Would be fine for a bald man perhaps.

A lovely hideaway location. Clean and comfortable. Rodger is a wonderful kind, thoughtful and generous host. He creates a warm friendly environment and staying in his lovely home feels more like staying with a friend than staying in a B and B. The suppers were all delicious, well cooked and varied, clean plates handed back every time! Thank you Rodger

Stayed the night here while visiting my best friend's ancestral home of Colonsay. The B&B was recommended to us by her cousin, who had stayed here two years ago, and we were not disappointed. Rodger and his wife couldn't have been nicer nor more accommodating. Our room was clean, beds very comfortable, good Wi-Fi, pleasant bathroom with terrific shower. The...

This is among the very best B & B's that we have stayed at in Scotland and it certainly reflected the glowing comments of other guests. Our room was beautifully clean and tastefully furnished as was the rest of the house. Our host Rodger is an excellent cook and the meals that we had were beautifully presented and delicious. Added...

I normally stay in backpacker type of accommodation when I travel by myself, although this isn't always possible - and in this instance I spent one night here. The B&B is at the northern end of the small island, close to the stunning Kiloran bay, and run by the very friendly and acerbic Rodger :-) The room was very smart,...

Excellent en-suite accommodation, great food and a great host. Can't really add much to the other reviews. We were on a cycling tour and the drying room came in very handy. We will certainly be coming back again and highly recommend Rodger's B&B to anyone visiting Colonsay.

“Any room is good. One does not have en-suite, however the bathroom is next to it and you have sole use of it. Large bathrooms and power showers are a plus.”
