Exposed wires on electrical appliances, crumbling building and a non working internet. Got the classic Gallic "who gives a poop" shrug on the last item. Otherwise, the people were very nice and the restaurant looked good. Located on a busy street near the railway station.

We stayed an overnight at the Le Bretagne. Nice welcome from the receptionist on arrival. Room was ready but had double rather than twin that was booked. Receptionist was very apologetic and arranged for additional bed to be delivered to room within minutes. Housekeeping staff were very pleasant too. Accommodation is fairly basic but clean and good value. Continental breakfast... More

A very convenient and easy to get to hotel for an overnight stay following a late night crossing from Dover. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Though a little tired everything was clean. Would use it again for this purpose. We were late down for breakfast and croissants had all gone. We were only charged for one breakfast because of this... More

My partner, puppy and I stayed for one night. We arrived in the afternoon on a Saturday and found a place to park in the hotel's front parking lot. The parking lot did fill by the end of the day but you can find street parking. It is 5 mins walk from the Ruines de l'Abbaye Saint-Bertin and a 15-20... More

Stayed one night on route back to UK. Very welcoming reception staff and bar staff later were very pleasant. Did not sample either dinner or breakfast. Rooms are just a little dated but very clean as was bed linen and bath shower room. Free car park outside main entrance. Drinks were reasonably priced for a French hotel.

The hotel is pretty quiet area. It's an older building that is well maintained . You notice the thick room doors. The breakfast is good , but not spectacular. The dinner is good: lots of choices and wine at reasonable prices. Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall price / quality very good.

Lovely little stop. We just stayed here for one night and it was a comfortable clean room. The only down side was it was very very hot and we couldn't turn our heating off and the window open made it noisy as it is in the centre of town. Breakfast was really good also, yummy and plenty of choice.

Very clean and functional. The bar and restaurant are good places to be and make it a sociable place. The food is also very reasonable and of good quality with the professional service we are used to in France. The wine list is of great quality and with a wide price range. My room had few frills but was very... More

Just over £80 for a twin room for two nights in November. Staff are courteous. Rooms well-equipped. The restaurant is excellent value. We had the €19 menu: I chose mackerel with potatoes followed by potjevleesch (a regional speciality of jellied meats) and panna cotta (because I was too full for the regional speciality). The selection of local draft beers is... More
