The food is proper home cooked Black forest style, and is delicious. The deco is amazing, its roughly 300 years old, and it had the most beautiful Christmas tree I ve...

Stayed here for one night on the way to Italy. We didn't have dinner as we arrived too late but did have a late evening drink in the garden which was lovely. Room was simple and the building is old so no lift, but it has lots of character. Lovely staff and breakfast was sufficient. Main issue with this hotel...

We stayed one night in our black forest tour. It was a charming hotel with a very night restaurant. Unfortunately it was very hot and, like most small hotels or BB this one does not had air conditioning so it was really hot.

We have been visiting the Adler for over 10 years, mainly as a stopover while driving from London to Milan. Glottertal is less than 10 minutes easy drive from the A5 Basel - Karlsruhe motorway. The atmosphere is wonderful, the food is good but it is the warmth of the welcome that keeps us coming back. The rooms are simply...
