Pueblo Evita is a delightful gated holiday ownership resort built in typical Andalusian pueblo style and set between the sea, which is literally down the road, and the mountains on the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. The resort is very popular for many reasons. It is perfect for a family holiday being surrounded by gates along with two outdoor swimming pools, we also have a poolside club house offering food and liquid refreshments. On site we have a supermarket specialising in English products and also a variety of bars and restaurants. On the doorstep of the resort is a tennis and paddle club for those who enjoy some exercise while on holiday. The resort also employs security guards for your extra peace of mind whilst holidaying with us.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.

We have arrived here today and all I can say is WOW, we have been visiting Benalmadena for 11 years and stayed in many apartments but this one is by far the best, so clean, homely, well equipped, comfy bed, spacious and great location, near to bars and restaurants , Sam’s bar is lovely and supermarket opposite. Check in was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free WIFI. Prior to arriving I asked if a bottle of wine could be left in the apartment for Hubby's birthday and it was there for him 😊. We have found our new favourite place will defiantly be returning next year.

I am stunned by some of the negative reviews on Trip Advisor regarding this complex. We recently returned for a 2 week stay and had a fabulous time at the Pueblo Evita Club. Firstly the location is ideal, being 200 yards from the beach with plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee shops on your doorstep. There is also a big Mercadona across the road from the complex which sells everything you need for self catering purposes. Regarding the accommodation. We had a one bedroom apartment which was spacious enough and we cannot fault the cleanliness or comfort of the apartment. Yes the walls are a bit on the thin side and in the quiet of night you can hear people talking both outside and in the adjoining apartments, but I have experienced the same issue when staying at more expensive hotels. The kitchen has all you require for self catering with fridge/freezer, cooker, oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. There are also plenty of utensils, crockery etc Yes there is a cockerel in the neighbourhood who likes to let everyone know that dawn is breaking but it not really something to complain too much about as you will hear other noises from garbage vehicles etc. There is a television in the apartment but we could not receive English Terrestrial Channels. This did not bother us as we use a holiday to escape from our usual normality, but it might bother some who prefer to stay in and watch TV at night. The pool is open from 11.00am - 18.00, or at least it was during the period of our stay. There are plenty of sunbeds for all and the pool is well managed by the on site lifeguard who controls access to the pool area. The clubhouse is run by a hardworking couple Yaz and Sara. They serve up meals throughout the day, should you not want to bother with self catering at any time. A lot of the apartments are being upgraded and from what we saw, to a very good standard. For those of you reading the reviews on this complex I hope you believe many of the other negative reviews as hopefully the price to stay here will remain competitive and we can get value for money when we return again.

We are extremely grateful to all the staff in Pueblo Evita for helping us to have a great holiday after a nightmare start! We had to move from our Air BnB booking as it was horrible... We have 3 teenagers and needed at least a 2 bedroomed apartment which is next to impossible to get in August when not booked well in advance. So when we chanced Pueblo Evita we were thrilled to get their very last availability that I know took effort to secure for us. We had the most comfortable apartment, a beautiful balcony with sun loungers, table and chairs, air con in each room, spacious double room , such comfortable beds, pillows, storage, amazing, the second room had 2 single beds, perfect for our boys, again plenty of storage , a modern fully equipped kitchen and very comfortable sitting room area with a double very easy and comfortable sofa bed couch for our daughter. We couldn't believe our luck. The staff are so helpful and pleasant especially Moe from Kilkenny, the pizzas are delicious and while the main pool area is very busy we absolutely loved our roof top pool area and really enjoyed chilling there. The location was perfect for us, close to lovely restaurants , shops, cafes and the beach was only down the road. Again cant thank Pueblo Evita enough , We will be back again.

Just back from a 4 night break at the lovely Pueblo Evita Apartments. Stayed in a beautiful 2 bedroom Premium suite which was beautifully decorated, modern with all you needed for a self catering holiday. The surrounding apartments and pool areas are immaculately kept and the club house and Sam’s bar next door serve lovely food and drink at really good prices. Roy on reception looked after us and was very accommodating with our request for a ground floor apartment. Pool was closed due to time of year but the nearby sunset beach hotel allowed us entry into their pool area for the day for just €4 each. Beach is only a 5 min walk away with lots of bars/restaurants/supermarkets and transport links all close by. Overall a lovely little break away, made all the better by the great weather, would definitely recommend the apartments and area to others.

The apartments are spacious, clean and well equipped. However we were on the very top floor and being in our late 60's with 4 joint replacements between us found the stairs extremely difficult on a daily basis but with 2 suitcases on arrival and departure it was horrendous! There are no lifts and it is exhausting. The onsite restaurant staff are lovely and food good value for money but very limited choice if you have a food allergy (ie coeliac). We found the reception staff to be less than helpful. When noting the amount of stairs and saying we had recently had knee relacements the comment we received was "well the exercise will do you good". I am not sure if it was supposed to be a joke but I found that rather rude. Not only that we were not advised on arrival that you had to pay for the use of the safe so it was yet another jaunt down to reception to sort that out. We stayed here 6 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed every minute but sadly this visit did not meet expectations. We will not return.

Dear Gill, I would like to apologize for my comment, I wasn´t aware that it sounded rude. I am sorry that we didn´t have any apartments to offer you on a lower level for the duration of your stay due to high occupancy. If we had one, we would have moved you. I recommend to all the future guests who will be reading this comment to advise us if they have difficulties with steps prior to their arrival so we could allocate a suitable apartment. We didn´t get any request from you before your arrival, which would have been helpful. I would expect a request for a lower level unit considering that you stayed here in 2018 on top floor. Best regards Emil, reception

Been going to Pueblo Evita for nearly 30 years now and we have made some great friends. The staff from the reception to the Clubhouse and the cleaning team are always very helpful and polite. We cannot wait until next year. A place I would definitely recommend to everyone.

The staff here were great and the apartment and grounds were very clean. The resort is in a great location and directly opposite a large supermarket and tennis club were you can play for eight euros. Benalmadena has a beautiful park which you can easily access and the same for the beach. I found the beds quite hard. There were two TVs in my large 2 bed unit but they were quite small and didn't have any streaming. However the Wifi was very good so I could stream on my laptop. The weather was great and restaurants nearby are excellent.

Dear sjdoch, thank you for your time to express your holiday experience. We had the TV technician on site during your stay transferring some of the channels from analog to a digital bandwith, So that is the reason why the channels were off, but it was interrumpted only during 2 days of your stay. I am sorry that the mattresses were not at your satisfaction but we can´t please everyone, even though we are trying hard. I hope to see you back in the near future. All the best Emil, reception

Helpful staff although the desk is only open till 5pm. Good location and nice but cold pool. Restaurants on location had average food but decent prices and good service. Expect a lot of stair climbing and bring your own shampoo and soap as they are not provided and pool towels will cost you 2 euros each for the stay.

Dear DOO-TO, Thank you for taking the time to write your review, we appreciate your positive comments about our staff and will make sure to pass them on. Please be advised that we do normally provide hand soap in the bathroom apart from dishwashing liquid, tea, coffee, sugar sachets and a small carton of milk etc. as a welcome pack. We apologise if the hand soap was not provided for your arrival, this was a human error. With regards to the steps, it is always advisable to request a lower unit if you have walking difficulties etc. We are situated on a hill and do not have lifts in this resort. Take care and safe travels. We wish you all the best. Regards,

Just back from a week in February staying at Pueblo Evita. Couldn't fault the accommodation or staff. It was outwith season so a few of the nearby restaurants were closed but those that were open were excellent value.
The resort is in a great location with a short walk to the beach and two supermarkets nearby. Will definitely return to this location.
