Not sure I could stay for a week but for a weekend it was fine. Our room was small but had a sea view which was nice but the bathroom especially shower wasn't great. We paid £20 a night so can't complain at that price! Would probably stay again...

Well we booked just two nights at the Betania. I will say the lady Helga on reception was helpful on checking in. Im not sure whether it was the short two nights break but we were given room 306 which like others mentioned is small... Yes with en suite but the bath/shower is an accident waiting to happen because how... More

With a little investment and imagination, this could be a real gem, as the location and the building (almost Gaudi-esque with its curving balconies) are outstanding. Quirky lounge spaces with balconies could be made really attractive. These almost (but not quite) make up for the breakfast margarine with unspeakable cheese, the poor decoration, the dated and unsafe fittings (like lights,... More

We had a lovely week here, our room was massive with two double mirrored wardrobes and a lovely clean working bathroom. Our room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels were also provided. Staff were lovely and friendly. Free WiFi was great for watching netflix on a tablet. Small poor area with a little people around about it so plenty of... More

Staff was great easy to get on with, room was clean, basic. Tv a bit 💩 but not here to watch it. Had a fan in the room, maids cleaned everyday. Can't argue for the cheapest hotel in Malaga. Would come back

Not at all value for money. It lacked any attention to detail. Requested 3 times to be moved. Only changed bed once in one week. Pool only cleaned once in one week. Breakfast not worth a mention when he turned up never on time. Basic it is but basic money it is not. Internet so poor I had to go... More

I found this place ok with value for money, my room was cleaned every day and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a quiet residential street and close to everywhere. I liked the Betania and have already booked a room for the 18th of October.

Shared balcony, people smoking wafted in our room, have to keep door closed all the time, Breakfast not worth going for. worse ever. No Bar. Just dreadful. People on patio talking all night, feels like they are in the room, have to keep blinds down as they sit outside the room as balcony only large enough for two plastic chairs.

This place is ok for the price. Do not bother paying for breakfast. Plenty of eating establishments within 5minutes walk. Rooms basic but cleaned every day. If you just use the hotel as a base it's adequate enough.
