Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

What a gem of a hotel, it looks brand new. It has recently been totally refurbished to a very high standard. We stayed for one night in late October, but the hotel was full of business people at a conference, as well as tourists. we opted for the half board option, the food choice was unbelievable, and excellent quality. The pedestrianised road outside was was very busy with tourists, and only a very short walk to the beach. Would stay again when in the area.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel in October. The rooms and all areas of the hotel are beautifully presented. Staff are friendly and helpul. I went half board and the food was excellent. Both pool areas are lovely and the roof top pool is exceptional. The beach and the main promenade are only a 10 minute walk away. I'll definitely be returning

This is our second time going back to this hotel. We have been to Salou for the last three years in October but could not get this hotel last year. It was a pleasure to recently stay there again. I have a detailed review from my first stay so you can get the finer details there. However the food was excellent in 2021 but it was actually better this time round and we had some exceptional nights in the restaurant. We have come to the conclusion that going forward when we go to Salou, the Olympus Palace is the only place to stay. Staff, customer service, cleaning of our room, Food and entertainment was excellent. Well done to all involved

Just returned from a 7 night stay at the Olympus Palace the hotel has been recently renovated it is clean and tidy with a good breakfast and the bar prices are reasonable but that’s where the good parts end. The renovation whilst modern was done to a cheap standard resulting in the noise level in the rooms being horrendous as the corridors are made entirely of solid materials so nothing to absorb the constant banging of doors and the guest’s voices made the sound seem as if it was at the bottom of the bed even if the doors were shut ten rooms down the sound echoed down the corridor resulting in a poor night’s sleep every night. Salou itself has not changed over the years with the usual smattering of gift shops, bars and restaurants. Would return to Salou but not to Hotel Olympus Palace.

5 days into our holiday at this hotel and I must say it is excellent. The check in was quick and friendly even though the room wasn't ready until 1pm should have been 3pm. The rooms are adequate for a superior pool view room. Only criticism is there are no storage drawers. Requested a kettle that came foc. The food here is the best quality I have ever had in a hotel not an awful lot of choice but something for everyone. The beef stew tonight was the best I have ever eaten. Well done Olympus palace. Already booked for next year in may with my son and his wife can't wait.

Hotel is perfectly situated for everything, rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Shower amazing!. Breakfast had something for everyone, we ate out at nights so can't comment on that. Absolutely no sunbed wars, can get s bed anytime when we were there. Bit older clientele but we didn't mind that.

Nice hotel in a good location. We could always get a sun bed near the pool (hotel has two swimming pools) and the staff here are lovely and very friendly. Downside, the rooms are very small for a 4 star hotel with very little storage space, no drawers to put things away. Food cooked freshly by chefs was hot but breakfast, lunch and dinner, food on the buffet was only just warm, I had no cooked breakfast from the self serving areas because by the time you sat down it was cold.

Salou was our 3rd holiday of 2023 - (Mexico, Sorrento) and decided to book here as we’ve never been before. The Olympus Palace is beautiful with great staff from the beginning of your holiday with reception - a great team. Any issues are dealt with immediately! Such as needing a kettle in our room to having our fridge looked at (which was running warm). Brilliant service. The only downside was noise / echos from the corridor, hearing doors closing/slamming from other guests. The food is fantastic. Always Lots of choice - breakfast, dinner and replenished frequently. Very organised. The pools are amazing. Very contemporary. The ground floor pool is relaxing and peaceful with plenty of clean loungers and tables. The rooftop pool is chic with a good vibe. Wonderful to have the choice of two beautiful pools. The location of the hotel is perfect. Step out the doors and you’re right where you need to be for shops, restaurants and the beach 🏖️ and great for visiting Barcelona which we did with Tui, and looking forward to returning to also visit Tarragona and Cambrills. A great varied holiday where we had everything we needed. I wanted to stay longer so we are definitely coming back to this wonderful hotel. Thank you Olympus Palace for a great holiday!

Visited the Saturday roof top pool party. Lovely pool with views around towards the sea. Good music in the background and dancefloor with Instagramable picture spots. My only downside would be the portion size given for the paella (tiny bowl) and that the staff behind the bar could try to be more attentive/friendly. Had a good time up there though with pals and would happily return.

Had a great time on last minute cheeky weekend away. Dropped on as the hotel is lovely. Yes understand some of the mixed reviews. It all in all good hotel. Room was adequate and extremely clean. Basic but enough. We got lucky with a low floor room on a quiet street view. Not that we spent a massive amount of time in there. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had and quality ingredients and great coffee. Once the coffee machine was mastered. Lovey Staff and great service. Ground floor Pool was great and relaxing quiet on September and super clean. Roof top pool was very busy during the weekend but open until midnight. To busy for me on a relax away. Another time I’d of been knocking some big shapes out. Spent a lovely Monday up there relaxing in the breeze and some chilled music. What’s not to like about this hotel.
