Our apartment was a great size and being on the top floor had lovely high vaulted ceilings.

Rooms are not usually ready until 3pm so if you have an early flight bare that in mind. There is a luggage room if needed. Safes / locker are actually in a room off reception not in the room.

Stayed in room 332 which had sun on the balcony in the morning and a nice view of the pool, hills. Bedroom had a sea view. The block opposite (5) had sun in the afternoon.

Kitchen had a toaster, hob, kettle and fridge but no oven or microwave.

TV had a few English channels (after retuning, BBC1, BBC2, CH4, Film5, Disney) and USB input. The lad who tidies the sun beds came up and retuned the TV for us because initially we only had BBC1. So hard working, he deserves a medal.

There are a lot of steps as the complex is built into a hill, block 4 had the most steps, no problem if you are a mountain goat, but there are a few apartments in block 1 and 2 with a lot less steps.

The road leading up to the complex is deserted due to the lockdown, however the area 3 minutes down the road was busy and more places were actually opening up due to the increase in tourists.

Had breakfast at the pool bar and it was very good, better than restaurants down town, this is served until 12.

Reception kindly printed our passenger location forms for me. Email was hp204080@gmail.com not what it says on the information sheet.

Santa Ponsa has a good beach and plenty of nice places to eat, so we stay in apartments like this due to the good value and location, rather than expensive hotels. We would definitely stay again if we returned to Santa Ponsa.

I have recently returned from a five night break staying at Holiday Park Apartments. The hotel is situated in a fairly central location and is a great base for exploring Santa Ponsa and the surrounding areas.

The rooms are really spacious and consist of a living/dining area, bedroom, shower room and balcony. They are quite dated but clean and have everything that you need. The one thing that I think is lacking from the rooms is a full length mirror; one small mirror above the sink in the shower room isn't sufficient.

The pool area was really nice with lots of sunbeds and space. The pool bar was great too with a range of both alcoholic and alcohol-free choices and light meals and snacks.

The hotel staff seemed professional and were really helpful :)

The only real negative I could say about this hotel is the amount of and steepness of the steps to some rooms. Room 344 had 140 steps to climb to access the room. If you have mobility issues and/or young children then perhaps this hotel isn't for you due to this - however I think guests are able to ask for a lower level room but it isn't a guarantee.

Overall, this is a very reasonably priced hotel which reflects 'you get what you pay for'. If you are used to five star luxury then this isn't the place for you. However, if you're happy with a basic hotel within a functional base that is clean and has all the essentials then I would recommend a stay here.

A lovely complex, clean and well kept. Only a 10-15 minute walk to the beach with ample bars, restaurants shops along the way. There are buses which go into Magaluf from near the beach too which are €3pp if paying in cash, but if you use a bank card it is only €1.80 (no idea why !) A taxi costs around €10 .
Rooms are small, but adequate and towels changed every 2 days, our bedding was changed on the 4th day. Valerino, the man on reception was so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. There was "entertainment" each night down at the pool bar with a chance to play Bingo which wasn't brilliant, but at least it was there ! The only downside was that there are lots of steps. So its not brilliant if you have mobility problems, but saying that I would definitely stay here again !

An average hotel, but very cheap. On a positive note, the apartments were large and pretty clean. The decor was dated but fine. The staff were nice. No toiletries are provided and the towels are quite old and thin, so you might want to bring your own.

We didn't use the bar and pool area after day one as there is very loud kids entertainment all day (and well into the night). I can see that this might appeal to some families with young children but it made the bar area unusable as a place to have a quiet drink in the evening. They must be losing a fortune in missed bar receipts as a result.

You can also hear the noise several floors up as it is so loud. We ended up just avoiding it entirely and using the beach and bars in town (although avoiding the rather run-down strip near the hotel). There were some dubious characters around, some of whom stayed in the hotel. We heard a lot of shouting and arguing in the early hours of the morning from other guests.

Santa Ponsa is a good resort - the beach is clean and there are good value tapas bars. We also visited Peguera, plus lots of the island's attractions ranging from Alcudia to Port de Sóller. Valldemossa and Estellencs were great. The island's bus network is excellent.

I'd return to Mallorca, and maybe Santa Ponsa, but would likely choose a different hotel unless things change. It was, however, exceptionally cheap - we paid £318 each for 12 nights including the flights and transfers!

Room Tip: Head for the authentic tapas bars. Bar Alhambra was a good example. Use the bus network to visit...

Omg read so much good reviews on these apartments, what a big let down , arrived quite early so we put our cases in the luggage room , this was not very secure people sitting about the place when we arrived , we left them anyway did not want to lose the day , so went to get something to eat and drink , came back to pick up room keys , cases were fine , so the lift only takes you to the pool area where the apartments all descend from , so a lot of climbing for likes of older people and disabled people . So we were with my wife's brother and his wife , so up we went up to the apartments ours was you went up 2 levels of stairs no balcony right into the apartment , as soon as you opened the door you could smell the place , during this this time and heard the sisterinlaw shouting omg am not staying here for a minute , without actually looking at our own we run up the stairs to have a look at theres , bodily fluids over the sofa and the curtains , the bedroom curtains was hanging off the rail , hairs every where over the toilet and shower , the fridge was rotten , absolutely disgusting, I know it's the end of season but come on clean the place , went and looked at our one was dirty also but not as bad as there's . So down to reception to complain we needed a move , have you a number for the Jet 2 rep , no was the reply , this women was very abrupt , asking what was wrong with the room we told her it was disgusting, on the radio to get cleaners . Cleaners came up we told them this needs deep cleaned not a quick wipe . Just by that we spotted a Jet 2 rep he came up and could not believe the mess of this place , Arrived on the scene was about 6 cleaners came in and starting throwing the furniture about been very nasty hauling out the fridge etc , Jet 2 rep said something to them and they went away , they were very abusive and nasty .onto his boss to organise a priority move for us , he told us we might have to stay here the night , so down the road and bought blankets to lie on for a night . The next day we got a call saying our move got the go ahead , we could not get out of there quick enough . Yes I know it was cheap but come on clean the place , payed extra to get a beautiful spotless clean hotel , cannot thank Anthony and Max from Jet 2 for all there help and there efficiency on our move .

Reception is sparse with a strange huge gold horse in a roped off area….? There is a flight of steps from there up to the pool area then rooms are all in blocks up various amounts of steps (we had 109 to room 346) which got tiresome. We didn’t spend much time in the apartment as there is a lot to do in Santa Ponca, lots of shops to look round, restaurants made you feel very welcome & food was amazing, the beaches are beautiful with loads of space, small coves & we went on the aquarium boat trip with was fabulous.
Sadly a lot of shops were closed & abandoned but there are great all weather football pitches & a few parks & the kids loved watching an international footy tournament.
There’s also mini golf & amusements, lots to do.
The rooms sadly are very dated, big gaps around the windows & doors, cold on a night, AC & WiFi all extra. The pool area was filled up easily space wise but there is also a terrace down a few steps with more loungers. Bedding was changed twice & towels, kitchen basic, no knives or microwave so we ate out every day. Dead flies stuck on all the walls, fridge door didn’t shut, the place has seen better days & was damp & smelly, beds not comfortable & rubbish dropped on steps left there all week.

Jet 2 rate these apartments as 3 star but they are only 2 star they are very basic and dated. When we arrived, there is no name on the front so didn’t look like a holiday place.
Kitchen area only has 2 hob rings a toaster and kettle why no microwave there is room. Plug socket’s hanging off the wall so didn’t feel very safe. Not enough storage for clothes all it would need is a cupboard in the living area for the children’s clothes. The bathroom was very small with a tiny shelf for toothbrushes, only one mirror in the apartment which was in the bathroom. Maids came most days changed the towels and changed the beds once a week but they didn’t clean the sink or toilet in the 2 weeks we stayed! Pool area very busy but you do get used to it, the lad who does the activities is very good and kept everyone entertained. Our apartment was up lots of steps no lifts so if u have mobility problems don’t stay here. The apartments are situated up a very busy road of Irish bars and nightclubs! Aircon cost us 84€ for 2 weeks and it’s only in the bedroom, safe cost 40€ and that’s situated in the lobby not in your room! So with tourists tax we paid 200€ on arrival!
I don’t usually write reviews but felt I had to for this place as over the years we have stayed in many 3 star places but this by far is the worst. We will not be returning to Santa Ponca

If you want noise all day caused by very loud disco music as well as CARL (in charge of entertainment) screaming at the top of his voice for no reason, this is an ideal hotel to stay..
I had to pay an extra 200 Euros because I wasn’t able to climb the 6 flights of steep stairs up to the room we were allocated.
The rooms need a complete update and if you want an umbrella to cover you around the pool in 36 degrees heat, be prepared to pay 13.5 Euros per day (135 Euros for our 10 day stay) on the beach because the hotel does not have any.
Don’t bother complaining to the Jet2 rep because he’s too busy sat around doing nothing to sort out your problems.
Basically, if you want a relaxing holiday without ear piercing rap/ disco music around the pool all day & night, an umbrella to protect you when the sun gets too hot, and a manager who cares about his guests needs instead of sitting in the reception oblivious of what’s going on.

We are still here now and thoroughly enjoying our stay. With everything we've all been through these past 18 months, it was lovely to get away to some sort of normality.

We travelled as a group of 6, three adults and three kids (2 x 6 year olds and a 9 year old). We got a decent deal with Jet2 for a week in August.

The apartments are a little basic and in due course, once all this COVID is behind us, I'm sure the owners will look at updating. Having said that, they are very clean and give all you need for a good self catering holiday. Most bars/restaurants in the immediate vicinity were still closed, but less than a 5 minute walk saw you in the middle of "the strip" with plenty of options to choose from. We found Italian Fushion, one of the first restaurants you come to, to be really good with something to suit everyone.

We had no issues with sunbeds round the pool and found that whether we went down at 9am or lunchtime, there was always space somewhere. Though I think the hotel did only seem to be about half full.

The prices at the pool bar are quite reasonable. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food on offer, always freshly prepared and good value. Thomas behind the bar is always helpful and makes sure you're never waiting long.

Carl, the entertainer, is an asset to the hotel and always enthusiastic when engaging with both the kids and the adults. Does a great job in keeping people involved and happy, and as many others have said, adds so much to the experience at the hotel both daytime and evening. Splash Bingo was a particular hit with the kids!

I've seen some of the comments about the noise around the pool area and can't understand them to be honest. During the day the music is at a level where it provides a nice atmosphere and is never too loud. Of an evening there is a strict "finish by midnight" policy and on several occasions we returned before the bar closed, we could not hear a thing from our room with the windows closed and the air con turned on. I guess some people just like to have a good moan?!

Overall very good value and we have enjoyed ourselves immensely, from kids to adults, we wish we could stay longer.

We stayed at the holiday park apartments for 5 nights from 1/07/21, we booked 2 apartments.
Check in took a little longer than usual but staff were pleasant, €5 per day for aircon and €22 for 2 adults tax
The apartments were clean but dated, there is everything you will need for a self catering holiday (we ate out so didn't use any of it).
Beds were comfortable
Walls are paper thin I could hear the people next door talking and people going up and down the stairs.
Pool looked nice but pool area was crowded (we use the beach so it wasn't a problem for us), the man/entertainer was chatty and appears to keep the kids and adults entertained.

Music goes on until 12 and is loud, this really didn't bother us but if your trying to get a young child to sleep maybe it would be a problem.

No hot water in the shower (in either of the apartments) at any time I tried it at 8am 2pm and 7pm, it was warm at best, unfortunately its for that reason that I would not return.
