We returned from the Casablanca Hotel in Santa Ponsa on Friday after a 2-week stay. The staff at the hotel are an absolute credit and made the holiday even more special for us, especially as three of our party of five were celebrating birthdays during our stay. Ramon, Felix, Cynthea, Charo and all the staff at the hotel were simply wonderful, so attentive, friendly and brilliant at what they do. The hotel was spotless and the cleaning staff always had a smile and a hello when passing. We had rooms on the 2nd floor (503 & 501) with beautiful views of the pool and Santa Ponsa bay. These rooms have been refurbished and were very good quality. Again, the rooms and the restaurant were spotless. It was good to see staff giving gentle reminders that masks were to be worn when visiting the buffet. Food was fresh and high quality - not the largest selection but we were more than happy with what was on offer over our stay. Poolside is well looked after, plenty of sun beds available and really clean. Pool bar has a small selection of food but I would highly recommend the sangria on offer! Very short walk to the beach, bars and restaurants. The staff are a credit to this hotel and I would definitely stay again, as well as recommend this hotel to anyone considering a stay in Santa Ponsa. Thank you Casablanca Hotel!

Had a great relaxing family holiday in Santa Ponca, the accommodation, food and people at the hotel Casablanca was just perfect for our family which included a 13 year old and an autistic 9 year old..

The hotel had a good mix of nationality’s of all age ranges, close walking distance to the beach, cafes & nightlife & far enough away to not be disturbed by any of it…

Wifi is available throughout the hotel a must for a family these days, as is the air on, there are plenty of Sunbeds, and shade & areas around the pools which also has a lifeguard (the pool toilet & changing rooms are spotless & lovely something many hotels take forgranted ). The bed rooms also had a TV and were cleaned everyday

All The staff are excellent.

The food is buffet style with loads of variety each time which they seem to ensure changes everyday so it’s not Groundhog Day with the food choice

The only slight negative would be the price of drinks in the hotel expect to pay €8.5 for a large Sangria, wine or short & €4.5 for a 🍺 but obviously drinks are cheaper in resort along the strip

Just an additional note that if your not good with stairs then this place isn’t for you as although there are lifts from ground floor to 2nd floor the pool area is on minus 3 floor and only accessible via lots of steps

Thank you for an enjoyable Holiday

Great hotel
Good location
There are stairs and hills in the area (if you struggle to walk)
Very clean
Very nice
Breakfast was good but with more attention it could be better

Hotel should take down passive aggressive notes on the ac machines and about the towels. Also one person maybe the manager is very strict but is accommodating but makes sure that you are aware of the favour or thing he is doing (if you ask for ice he says just this once etc water machine in the restaurant can’t fill up bottle when closed even though it’s simple) holiday experience is lacked therefore. Paying for the fridge isn’t ideal it’s tight considering it’s not a cheap holiday and guests are at the forefront of the holiday/business surely. Overall very good holiday I would go back just little aspect staff are helpful just that factor mentioned.

Hubby and I made a last minute booking and were very pleased with our choice.
Hotel Casablanca is a small, family run property with a traditional Spanish feel. Apparently the first hotel to be built in Santa Ponsa.
We were lucky enough to get a refurbished room with a view of the pool and the bay beyond the trees. The beds were comfortable, the a/c worked well and there was plenty of storage space. The bathroom was fully tiled with a huge walk in shower and always plenty of hot water. Clean towels were provided every day and the room was kept spotlessly clean.
We enjoyed the food on half board and thought the selection was fresh and varied for a 3 star hotel. The restaurant was never crowded and we liked to eat on the outside terrace enjoying the view.
A five minute walk took us down to the main beach and bars, and a 15 minute walk revealed a beautiful secluded cove perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
The hotel is set into the hillside so expect lots of steps… 60 plus from reception to the pool! And the lifts only go so far. The pool terrace was never crowded and you could get a sun bed at any time of day. The pool bar made the most delicious sangria and drinks were reasonably priced.
There is an extra charge and deposit if you want to hire pool towels, a kettle , a safe or a fridge.
The only thing that would make it more enjoyable is some outside seating to enjoy a drink and watch the sunset in the evening.
Would happily return to this hotel when visiting Mallorca.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and it was every bit as good as I remembered. The restaurant is one of the calmist I've ever been in, not loads of choice as a vegetarian but I certainly didn't go hungry. Lovely staff, very friendly and obliging. There are 53 steps down to the pool which means there are 53 back up lol, that was hard work. We happened to arrive as it was festival week, no problem Sunday to Thursday but Friday and Saturday it went on until 5.30am, nearly drove us mad. There is no fridge in the room and it was 45 euros to rent one 😬 also 5 euros each for a pool towell with 10 deposit, you only got the deposit back. All in all we had a lovely break at this lovely hotel x

recently refurbished apartments , more space and very clean . The apartments are great for self-catering or half-boarders , as the kitchen are equipped with kettles , pans and even a blender . I have stayed in the apartments twice , one time before and one time after the refurbishments . The rooms are big with enough storage but the air con is often quite loud .

I came away for a solo holiday for 5 nights, I read the reviews of Casablanca and saw good reviews. It appeared friendly and ideal for a solo get away.
The hotel itself is nice, small and independent, but it has nice touches.
Unfortunately a lot let it down, the room was very small and it advertised a bath, there was no bath, only a shower, I also had no hairdryer in the room.
The staff on the most part are nice although, the bar man at the pool bar said ‘I see your here alone’ he also knew somehow?! What room I was in and said to me ‘are you scared?’ Which is very worrying as a mid 20 girl who is travelling solo!
Also noticed the lifeguard on his phone taking pictures of people in the pool, whether that was of me or someone else, it is very strange and made me feel very very uncomfortable.
I ended up leaving the hotel early and going elsewhere as I didn’t feel safe with them knowing what room I’m in and what was said, it could’ve been innocent but it made me feel very uncomfortable.
The staff on reception don’t say hello. The only thing good about this hotel is the waiting staff who are nice and the fact you can always get a sunlounger. I really wouldn’t bother!
Also ants all over the room! Gross.

We had two double rooms which were comfortable and clean, we were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was nice but nothing great. The hotel has some stunning views and the pool area is very nice plenty of comfortable sun beds and parasols, the hotel is surrounded with trees and flowers. The things that let the hotel down are having to pay extra for a kettle, tea/coffee facilities no water to drink in the room, pay extra if you want a fridge or iron or safe. All these things should be standard, also breakfast finishes at 9.45. Apart from these points the hotel was good, not great but acceptable.

Booked 2 apartments. A 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom. I thought the accommodation and standard was quite basic considering the price we paid and none of the rooms in the apartment block get any sun on the balcony. Worse still if you get an apartment that faces the road. I felt the apartments were rather depressing.
