We had a fantastic weeks stay in Sunprime.
The complex is clean,bright,modern&so welcoming.
The rooms are cleaned every day and the overall standard is immaculate. Our apartment was spacious with a beautiful view over the pool area,lots of wardrobe space,kitchen utensils,robes in the room and on arrival there was bottled water in our fridge which was a lovely touch. There was also 2beach towels-so no need to bring these with you-leaving more room in the suitcase. There are lots of sun loungers spread around the 3 different pool areas and plenty always available. The shop located beside the pool has a great selection,you can buy drinks here&they will open them so you can have a drink by the pool.
I had the privlage of having a full body massage at the spa,the therapist was lovely and welcoming and very good at her job.
Sunprime is in a good location,it is abot 20mins walk down to the beach,we enjoyed going for a walk each day so didnt mind the distance. Taxis sit outside the hotel day and night and are very reasonable,approx €3.50 down to the beach.
We went to melonoras 3nights-which is 5mins away in a taxi,costing €6, i would highly reccomend,there are lots of beautiful restaurants,el churrasco especialy and cafe del mar is worth a visit for cocktails and night time entertainment.
We went to puerto rico one day,the bus stop is 1minute walk from sunprime,there is a beautiful harbour and nice restaurants there.
Overall the staff at sunprime are what makes this such a welcoming holiday destination. Everybody is so friendly&helpful,nothing is ever a bother.

Only booked this holiday 2 weeks ago and decided on the sunprime after 2 days of doing my homework. Had an absolutely great stay here (in fact I'm sat by the pool it's our final day) and what made it such was the staff,what a great bunch right across the board,I couldn't pick anyone out in particular as that would be unfair on all the others.
We had a junior suite that was very modern and quite large in size,with a particular huge balcony,cleaned every day and towels changed whenever we required.
The pool area maintained very well with 3 lovely pools and plenty of sunbeds.
The food in the restaurant was really good,plenty of choice and replenished quickly,we never starved that was for sure.
The hotel is a little away from the 2 main beaches,but the hotel provide a shuttle bus,or its a 30 min walk or 3/6 euros in a taxi depending on which beach you go to.
My one tiny gripe is the lounge/bar area ,it looks like an IKEA showroom, the chairs and tables are not really fit for this type of purpose.
So on the whole a great hotel with superb staff,you will not be disappointed with your stay here.

This was our second visit to Sun Prime Atlantic and once again we had a fabulous stay.
We emailed the Check In desk a week prior to our arrival and requested a room on a high floor in block A, which Oscar on the desk responded and did his best to oblige, and indeed he did.
We booked a Self Catering one bedroom apartment and were given, as requested, a lovely room in block A on the top floor, which afforded great views of the pools and across to the dunes and sea beyond.
The rooms are a generous size and have a small kitchenette with enough equipment to rustle up meals, a good sized bathroom with powerful double shower & large mirror, well lit and with window.
The bedroom has very comfy beds with excellent bedding/pillows, plenty of wardrobe space, a free digital safe, full sized iron and ironing board.
The lounge area is well proportioned with a useful storage coffee table, comfy sofa, tv, lamp table and sliding patio doors to a very good sized balcony with 2 chairs and table and a folding clothes airer.
Monica was our room maid, she serviced our room very well on a daily basis and nothing was too much trouble for her, from fresh towels/sheets, topping up the shower wash, toilet rolls, she was brilliant.... 5 Stars for Monica.
The pools and gardens, bar and public areas all well maintained which complete
this fantastic hotel and we shall, without question, be returning very soon.

We've just come back from a 7 night stay at this hotel and have left rather underwhelmed. We decided to go self catering rather than all inclusive. We've found the drinks and food in this hotel to be rather pricey. €5.80 for a smallish glass of Sangria and €24 each to eat the buffet at night. The quality of the food is good, however, I wouldn't say that it is €50 for a couple good.
The rooms are clean, but could do with some modernising. The kitchen area in the rooms are very small, which makes it alot harder to cook your own meals. Our shower door was broken and the air conditioning didn't work.
The pools are lovely with a lovely surrounding. A spot of music wouldnt go amiss just to add some atmosphere.
We hired the tennis court one evening. The hotel supplies the rackets but do not supply a ball to play with. If you want to use the courts, you will have to go to the local shop and buy 3 for €9.50. The lights on the court are also chargeable at €5. Bear that in mind with the fact the offer bookings right up untill 22:00. Personally, I feel this should be included within the hiring of the court.

Just returned back from a 7 night stay at the sunprime Atlantic. The hotel is in a great location to either playa del ingles or Maspalomas which you can easily get to in a taxi for less than €6
There are 4 swimming pools which are well looked after and plenty of beds so we never struggled to get one. There is a mini market and spa on site too.
The staff are very welcoming, and always willing to help. We booked a trip very last minute and the guy on reception did all he could to make sure we secured a spot. The room was cleaned every day, we were self catering and they even did our dishes on a few occasions im ashamed to say 😬 The hotel is spotless and very well looked after and all in all deserves the 4* it has. The only downside for me, is a travelled with my partner and although we aren’t in our 20s anymore, we certainly aren’t ready for retirement either! The hotel lacks atmosphere and is very much geared towards the ‘older’ clientele. There is no music playing around the pool area and you feel Like you have you to whisper to each other. I definitely think you need to be aware of this if you are after a hotel with a little bit of life. If your happy for complete silence and a very quiet holiday then this is the perfect hotel for you.
It’s a shame really as this would be the only thing that would stop me from recommending this hotel to friends and family

We visited Sunprime for 10 days and have to say the place is great. The facilities are spot on and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned every day unless you indicated do not disturb. We had a massive balcony on the first floor and had sun all day, even though we spent all our time at the lovely pool.
We went all inclusive and the drinks were good enough. The food is brilliant and I’m a fussy eater, always something I liked. As a Brit I prefer a real English breakfast which you won’t get but that didn’t matter as accepted most occupants were from the other side of the water.
Whilst we were there they implemented a no smoking policy on your balcony which to begin with we were not happy about as it’s not a public place but accepted it and moved on.
On our second last day we asked about showering facilities for our departure day and was told we could use the spa as we needed to check out at noon for a 1830 pick up. On the day of departure we were told we couldn’t use the spa, as was being used, and could use a shower in the pool side toilet which we weren’t happy about. We were offered the option of keeping our room on for €60 but we weren’t prepared to do that. We walked away accepting the position only for the receptionist to chase us down and had came up with a solution. He didn’t have to do that but this is an example of how friendly and accommodating they were.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a relaxing adult only hotel in GC and if we choose to return to GC we will definitely be back.
I hope the management see this review and pass on our thanks and appreciation to all the staff and especially the guy at reception for going above and beyond x

The Hotel is not on the seafront, it is situated about a mile from the beach, but a free bus service is offered by the Hotel. All staff we came into contact with were superb, friendly and helpful, from bar staff including Le-Shan who remembered what we usually ordered to the reception who couldn't do enough to be helpful, Henrik who helped when I was filling out my re-entry track and trace, sorting me with the Wi-fi.
The restaurant served a selection of 'European' foods, with something for everyone from the cold continental breakfasts, to boiled, scrambled or fried eggs and Bacon, there was even smoked salmon on offer, coupled with staff who constantly cleared tables and were very attentive. The lunches were lovely, ( we enjoyed the soups), as we pretended to watch our diet. Dinner was always a themed evening, or a buffet with a choice of three types of meat and several sorts of fish, followed by a vast choice of desserts, you helped yourself to beer and wines, and sparkling or plain water, but you had to get Cava from the bar (as if that is an effort !). The four pools were all clean and well kept as were the garden areas. Loved it ! Thanks Guys !!

We have recently returned from this adults only hotel and I would highly recommend it.
Things were quieter than normal due to COVID restrictions but all amenities were available to guests and it felt very safe and was spotlessly clean.
Food and drink were excellent but what makes this hotel stand out is the exceptional staff who can’t do enough for you.
My partner unfortunately tested positive for COVID prior to returning home and had to quarantine for an additional 10 days at the hotel and again the staff catered to his every need and made sure he was ok.
If you’re looking for an excellent adults only hotel then please consider here.

We chose this hotel as it was adults only and within walking distance of the beach. After a very warm welcome at reception we went to our room on the top floor which had a sitting area, small kitchen & bathroom and a great view all the way to the sea. The only thing we would mention is the pillows. A choice of hard or soft would have been nice. The website stated there was one pool but there are four, and more than enough sunbeds, so no need to reserve one early, which the hotel does ask guests not to do as towels will be removed before 0900. This is the first hotel we have been to where towels have actually have been removed, which is nice to note. On entering the restaurant we were taken to a table of our choice and a Reserved sign was immediately placed on it so we could take our time getting our food. There was always a great selection both at breakfast and dinner and was of good quality. The restaurant overlooked the pool area and the staff were excellent especially Linda, Nayra, Pablo, Ivan, Oscar, Victor, Luis, Cristo & Arseno to name but a few.
The hotel was exceptionally clean and as it was our first trip to Europe for many years were were pleasantly surprised and are looking forward to returning for another relaxing stay in the near future.

VERY NOISY
The positives: clean, great staff and service, large room, good gym and class teacher.
The negatives: the rooms in the main block back onto an open corridor above a parking area, the main entrance and the back of the kitchens constantly noise from people walking along corridor, reversing lorries and bottles being emptied. A floor cleaner goes along about 0400 and has a squeaky wheel so expect tk be woken up. Air con loud and hopeless, fridge very loud. Furniture scrapes on floor of rooms and balconies to add to the racket. Ear plugs are essential. They have a note in the room to say towels will be removed if not occupied on sunbeds before 0900 but by then half are gone as well as empty. By 1030 forget any chance of getting one.

That have a bar in the shop where you get your drinks and snack I went bb and we just bought our coffee tea drink ect going back this year loved everything about this hotel hope that helps
