Ok, so I would really like to write here "don't come and stay at this hotel because" and go on and list lots of reasons why you should not. If I did that it would only be because I wanted to ensure the next time I wanted to visit there would be rooms for me to do so! Yes the... More

Got very ill during my stay, spent two days at hospital. The doctors questioned the hygiene where i had stayed and eaten. As i just had been eating at upper class restaurants and stayed at this hotel I didnt think to much of it. However when i got back to the hotel i actually found that the house keeper had... More

Am still at The Rui Palace sadly on a chilly, grey day at the end of November. Still a lot better than sitting in the cold of England and wishing we weren't! We arrived at the hotel on Saturday afternoon to be welcomed by a lovely cold glass of champagne at check-in. We were allocated our room (103)and not particularly... More

Fantastic five nights in this luxury hotel. Fantastic location. Very clean. Food is brilliant. Probably the best hotel food I've had.Staff are amazing. Wifi is average. We took our 6 year old and the staff very very good with him, but this is not really a "family" hotel, however we still enjoyed it. Be prepared to set your alarm early... More

The last week of October 2016 we stayed in the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas in Playa del Inglès (Gran Canaria). We had choosen this hotel because of it's unique location near the famous dunes of Maspalomas. Our room on the third floor looked nice and tidy. Only the bedding was not to our liking. Blankets consisting of acrylic and polyester... More

I'm just back from a week at this beautiful hotel with my 2 year old boy & sister. I cannot fault the hotel for one thing. The reception staff are smiley & very helpful, the porters are attentive & always speak. The maid (room 2049) brilliant always a clean room. The pool men very good and helpful. And last of... More

Just returned with my Mum from a week's holiday in the Rui Palace. It's a great hotel. We found it to be very clean, we'll run and the food was excellent with plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meal with a different chef "special" every night. Our room was spacious with a lovely view over the dunes. The pools... More

This is a hotel trying a little too hard. It has a problem as half of Europe passes through it on their way to the Dunes which it adjoins, this rather mars its pretentions to being a 5* hotel but the riff-raff aren't its only problem. This is just another identikit Canary Island hotel impressing by formula and not by... More

Hotel is stunning. The room was a bit outdated and air conditioning didn't work very well. My partner and I had a great time. Dinner was great every night and staff super friendly.
