Just returned from a well needed family holiday at the gran oasis resort tenerife, we enjoyed every day, the staff are all incredible, the hotel is immaculate, all inclusive food was a different theme every day so always something new to try, the drinks had a wide variety of cocktails and soft drinks, the entertainment team kept the fun and games going all day and night. We will definitely be returning again next year.

The hotel itself is lovely, accommodation was fantastic, the food however was absolutely awful, we attempted the restaurant once & left to go to a restaurant as it was inedible. I’m quite shocked by the reviews stating it was great?? Admittedly myself & family are quite foodies, but a complete waste of money being all inclusive. I think having to pay €2 for a clean/dry towel daily should be reviewed, a 4* hotel charging for towels?

Lovely hotel and terrific, friendly staff. The rooms are all like your own separate detached house. Their is no corridor to the rooms, so very little noise during the night. Rooms extremely spacious and beautifully designed. Even though it is predominantly an all inclusive hotel their is a spacious kitchenette with microwave, fridge, kettle etc. The main pool is heated so it was like jumping into a warm bath. Golf course just 15 - 20 mins walk with driving range ( only 1 euro for a basket of balls). Photo opportunity wherever you look around the hotel. Food varied and different themes every night. Special mention to Javier. Not only did he do a fantastic job entertaining all the kids with songs and mini disco at night, but he also does a superb job of singing as Michel Buble. Reception staff excellent - Eva, Lukas, Alfredo, Enrique, Evelyn and Anna. Tons of sunbed and a super games arcade. Gracias!!!!!…

Lovely hotel with delicious food and really nice staff. This hotel however is not for anyone who is not of a reasonable fitness or has any even slight mobility problem. Also very difficult if you have young children or push chairs. The hotel is situated at the top of a very steep hill. There is a courtesy bus to the centre at 11.15 every day and returns at 5pm. A taxi back however is only 7 Euros. At the hotel itself however there are many many stairs. All rooms are small self contained houses. We had 8 stairs up to front door. Once inside 4 stairs to a bedroom with no wardrobes & kitchen and 15 stairs down to another bedroom, wardrobes and bathroom. From the house there are 15 stairs to reach level of dining room . Another 6 or so to reach dining room. 8 stairs from pool to snack bar. If your really unlucky you may end up having 72 stairs from pool to your room as did a young couple we spoke to with young child and buggy. That aside if you can manage all that the 3 pools are excellent. Whole place is spotlessly clean . All inclusive is cheap spirits . You have to upgrade yet again to get branded drinks.…

The hotel is lovely but the food and drink let's it down, the food is very repeative and luke warm most nights, alsp if you want branded spirits you have to pay for them and rhey only have local lager which is Dorada, things to improve would be water in the room on arrival and tea/coffee. The grounds and pool area are lovely, clean, staff are really chatty n nice. Hopefully these changes could he made.

We are currently staying at gran oasis and have today been on organised trip to Teno Rain forest (currently runs each Thursday from hotel) with Roberto and Stefany. The local knowledge and information they provide is brilliant. This morning trip is incredible value at €10 each. And one we would highly recommend.

Lovely hotel, staff did everything to make your holiday, our first room was not right for us and was changed the next day. Food was nice plenty of choice. Good drinks . Rooms spacious and clean. Only downside is there are lots of steps, they have ramps but can be steep.

We absolutely loved this hotel. We really needed a relaxing week away in the sun and this hotel and its staff were wonderful. You do have to take your own luggage to the room and although there are ramps, the hotel is on a hillside so there will be some inclines to negotiate Huge rooms - we were AI so barely used the upstairs kitchen and living room. The room was very clean with an upstairs balcony and a day bed outside downstairs which was lovely to relax on in the late afternoon. Three pools - a lovely large pool was the one we used (mainly by adults). Lots of sun beds - we rarely had a problem getting one. Pool towels were provided. The large pool is fairly deep all round - I could just touch the bottom. Food in the restaurant was buffet style - always freshly prepared and a good choice. AI also gave you the option to have a glass of cava which was great. A nice view over the pool from the restaurant. A nice touch was the waiters coming around the pool in the morning with pieces of fruit and drinks. Two bars provided drinks throughout the day - pool bar from 11am and Taste bar from 1pm I believe. Lots of bar area seating and comfy seats in the lobby. Snacks available from 11am from a room just off the bar until 6pm ie crisps, sandwiches, pastries, fruit. Well stocked supermarket. We loved the fact that although the resort seems quite big, it was so quiet at night. We slept really well and the bed was extremely comfortable. Resort really pretty at night as palm trees lit up etc. Rooms cleaned every day. The hotel is set up in the hillside but we enjoyed the 25 min walk down to the beach/ shops several times to have a wander around. The views of the sunset from the beach is well worth the walk (you could also get a taxi). AI is only provided up until the day of check out for breakfast only so bear that in mind if you have a late flight. Entertainment ok in the evenings starting around 9.30pm. Sat on my sun bed enjoying my last day in the glorious sunshine at this beautiful hotel, and thought I’d write another review based on this, my 3rd visit. ROOM - We stayed in room 79 golf view, as always room lovely, but this time we were blessed with the most amazing sunsets every night see pic. Room cleaned to perfection every day. No issues with hot water running out ( And I take forever ) FOOD - So this has always been ok/good on previous visits, but this time it was excellent… we ate out twice, the rest of the week breakfast lunch and dinner in the hotel and emptied my plate on every occasion. Some of the highlights … Soup for starters were delicious, garlic chicken off the grill with canary potatoes and gorgeous salad. Fajitas Mexican night, Doner Kebab cooked on the vertical spit, in wraps filled with salads and sauces, lasagna and salad Italian night, steak and chips, pork in pineapple sauce with vegetable rice. Just naming a few! All served hot!! So not sure if they changed suppliers, chef or I made better choices. GYM - Never used this before, but I’m in the zone at the moment and went every morning. There’s a couple of spinning bikes, 2 treadmills a cross trainer and a selection of weights .. had a great workout every time. 💪 “WORKING FROM HOME” - This is the reason my post is anonymous 😂 I’ve run out of annual leave so I worked from home for 2 days 😬 this was a bit painful, one because I had FOMO 😂 but also the internet and data wasn’t the greatest. Zoom call was a disaster lol! But I found a way and got through it. DRINKS - standard all inclusive just perfect .. the gin and tonics went down nicely ( sometimes they were soooo strong ) ENTERTAINMENT- only went one night, watched shania Twain tribute she was amazing all the audience singing along with her, which added to the great atmosphere. We did head down to the strip behind the safari centre a couple of nights which is a great laugh, live entertainment, karaoke.. it’s all down there! WEATHER has been incredible in the 30’s every day blue skies all round, and pools heated so a lovely temperature. SPA - Treated myself to a massage it was heavenly, highly recommended 👍 Gutted to be going home tomorrow but grateful for another fabulous week at this hotel.
