arrival 11th October, the hotel sits on higher ground skirting the golf course it owns. The reception is beautiful and the doorman helpful. Room 6 a duplex suite is in my opinion the worst room of the complex, having no brochure views of the pool or golf course from which we decided upon this Suite. I pointed this out to the reception and asked for a different room. Only 4 in the hotel so no move. Downgrade us to give us a view was met with a denial hotel full, even though other guests were being moved throughout the week, Jet2 was no help here as the complaint was addressed 3 days into holiday. My view on the hotel. is mixed, a beautiful building filled with wonderful guests but the management in particular have an air of arrogance. The restaurant matradee one good one bad, no names mentioned, we did comment on this, the waiting staff were excellent and at the end of the week we will miss them. Other guests suggested we check our bill and indeed it was wrong,but put right upon clarification. The tvs for us in english kept dropping out and the bedroom tv did not give us english for the first 2 days until it was fixed. The air con is adequate and a haven to cool off in this exceptional week of hot weather for the time of year. but it does not attain the set temp rate. and 21 degs was best we could get during the night time. and given the size of the rooms it never will. it looks to be a central controlled system. The golf course was a pleasure to play, variation and elevation nicely set around some water features, you a paired with other golfers from the hotel with fill in from external bookings, it is also reasonably priced given the buggy is free to use during your stay at the hotel, Pool and bar for us was used to dip and cool off and never looked overcrowded. The terrace dining experience was fantastic watching the sunsets as we ate over an hour for the 3 course fare of offer. enough variation for a week. but Felt some of the specials were not to the stannard of the set al a carte menu. In all, a fine hotel with a relaxing atmosphere but away from the centre of anything. shortcomings spoilt this experience which doesn't come cheap.…

This place with its golf course is a paradise set in pretty ugly Christianos. We loved everything about it. The tranquility, the staff, especially the food made for a wonderful stay. Most of the guests come year after year. Would we come again? Absolutely yes.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. From the minute you walk in you know the staff will do anything to make your stay a great one. Rooms are large with excellent facilities - we would love to have brought the shower home with us. Rituals toiletries, his and hers sinks and huge balcony with lovely furniture. The bed is enormous! and super comfy. Breakfast was excellent, fantastic service, great selection and again staff couldn’t do enough for you. The Golf experience is 5star+. Well equipped with buggies (cooler boxes and touch screen map of the course). The hotel will book you on, go down to basement in the lift, retrieve your clubs from the locker room, jump on your buggy then use your room key to open the gate and drive on to the first tee. I don’t play but went around with my husband so we met lots of people from different parts of the world as you are booked in on tee times up to a four ball. The course is beautiful, especially the 17th. Don’t book golf before you go, it’s actually cheaper when you are there. My husband had booked 2 rounds, but ended up playing 5. The pool area is beautiful and there was no struggle to get a sun bed, nor did anyone reserve and disappear for the day. The only problem we had was we only booked 10 days - it wasn’t long enough! Cannot wait until we return, absolutely loved every minute. …

what an experience from the moment you walk into this spectacular hotel it simple takes your breath away, simply a five star experience from start to finish. Breakfast is amazing and drinks are reasonably priced. The rooms are beautiful and spacious bathrooms are stunning rooms are cleaned daily the view from the balcony’s over looks the beautiful grounds and pool area. I am a keen golfer so having access to your own locker and use of a buggy for the duration of your stay free of charge is a real bonus you simple drive out from the under ground garage onto Las Americas Golf course which is truly spectacular a wonderful course. But what makes this hotel so special are the staff nothing is to much trouble everyone has a smile on there face and they do all they can to make sure your stay is one to remember. If you are considering staying here do it you will not regret it for a single moment myself and my wife will be returning soon !!! Just back from 2 weeks at Las Madrigueras and words cannot covet what a fantastic experience we had. On arrival the room was massive and so well appointed. The balcony was massive with fantastic loungers. We had room 212 which meant you could sunbathe until 7.30 every evening. Breakfast was a amazing, never too busy nor too rushed with a fa gastric choice of food made fresh to order. THE POOL! Honestly this made the holiday. Loved that there was no need to grab loungers as there were plenty for everyone. Towels handed to you on arrival at the pool and the people that worked in the pool area were so friendly. Had lunch several times over the 2 weeks and the food was amazing as was the service Used the gym probably 8 times and was the only person there so felt like a private gym! Have stayed in many 5 star hotels but this is now the standard by which I will measure other hotels, loved every minute and every aspect of this hotel, already planning a return visit next year…

Had dinner in the ‘Bogey’ restaurant to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. Excellent service & food. Had the snow crab for starter and the chateaubriand steak for mains. Have previously stayed at the hotel so knew the standard was high. If you want a first class experience for a special occasion I recommend it.

This is a home away from home. The staff is perfect. The hotel rooms - so big and nice and clean and the balcony very nice. The breakfast perfect and then to take the elevator down to a very nice place where you keep your golf clubs in locked cabinets and the golf carts next to you. Then the golf-course is wonderful and it takes you about 3 min from leaving your room to be on first T. The quietness is much appreciated so everybody can relax at the swimming pool etc. The spa is also very nice. This is our 2nd visit but not the last one. Thank you all so much. Alma Eir Svavarsdóttir

We stayed here last May, loved it. Great service, very good food, staff are so friendly. Great room. Access to the golf course is exceptional. Adult only is a big bonus. We loved it so much we are going back this year in May with friends. The golf course has some challenging holes. Lovely venue. You must try it.
