Best Tenerife hotel enjoys a prime location that is highly appreciated by guests for its proximity to beaches and local attractions. While the atmosphere is considered lively and the staff friendly, some guests have called out the need for room refurbishments and a revamp of the entertainment offerings.
Cleanliness receives commendations, yet the hotel's value is questioned due to additional costs and the quality of certain amenities. Overall, the hotel's diverse dining options and ample sunbeds are popular, but the mixed feedback suggests a balance between its favorable location and the need for modernization.

Visited as a first timer with mixed reviews from family and friends,
What a pleasant surprise , first reception polite and professional, small personal things impressed, safe in room free of charge as is the air conditioning usually need to pay.
Room was a standard but very spacious 2 queen size beds as it says suitable for 4 people, bathrooms are immaculate and fresh, cleaners visit every day with the option I selected of a time slot, I asked for between 9am and 1pm and they never failed to deliver.
Rooms are various sizes and tastes from pool view (little noisy) front of hotel quiet but overlooking the main road and no sun, or the outside rooms also quiet but overlooking small shops and also no sun on balconies. Standard rooms are excellent but you have option of small suite with bedroom and a lounge area or upgrade to a master suite which includes a fenced off sunbathing / relaxing huge patio.
Food was not extravagant or fine dining but plenty of variety and tasty options, never Failed To be satisfied.
Restaurant staff were abundant , cheerful and in most polite with 1 exception.
Breakfast drinks include tea coffee fruit juice and wine,
in afternoon lunch is all inclusive beers wines, coffee tea, juices,
On an evening all good first week then waitress with glasses and grey hair took it on herself to remind everyone drinks are table service not self service and was quite abrupt.
Pool area was incredible 1 pool kept warm while the other was fresh water and very cold but very refreshing, the addition of a waterfall starting at 11,30 am was good. The soccorista (lifeguard) were a bit overboard no inflatable no balls in the pool and god forbid you moved your sun bed from its position lol.
All inclusive drinks are fantastic both beers and spirits of a high quality and the decision to put everything as self service is refreshing is a very good idea.
Things to be aware of,,, Baths/ showers can be dangerous no anti slip mats or grips on the bath and very slippy. Door stop in room is in middle of floor and a trip hazard,
Bar area needs refreshing and not inviting and the entertainment consists of the animation team from 9pm TIL 9,45 and the adult entertainment can be seen as non existent. People are of the opinion that this may be a ruse by the hotel where you eat and drink freely and sleep but on an evening guests choose to frequent the many local bars and tavernas for entertainment which surely reduces the amount of alcohol served in the hotel.
All in all with the attitude that you get what you pay for ! Then you will find in this hotel you get more than the average and a very pleasant surprise.
We have decided this will be a regular hotel for us from now on..

It was our first trip to Las Americas area which we loved the main street with designer shops and great beach walks only minutes from the hotel.
The food choice at times was acceptable even for my vegetarian wife.
Some foods were luke warm, so made sure we got early for freshly cooked meals. Great choice of desserts.
It made a difference at night as you were served drinks from the staff, it's a pity this was not applicable at the bars, but the staff were nice enough to show you how to help yourself and they did provide nuts or crisps when requested.
Nightly entertainment was terrible, okay for kids, but for adults many of us got up and left. You need better acts and style of music. The acts were like something from Butlins Camp in the 70's.
The bingo took over half an hour for someone to get a full house, it was so slow it became so boring.
Our bedroom air conditioning was faulty, I reported it to receptionist and it was repaired.
The room 249 itself was lovely, but these rooms need to be well maintained, the bathroom floor tiles were very loose, the balcony gold rail was quite loose and dangerous.
The reception seating area needs a member of staff to regularly monitor said area as in cleaning the tables of cups and glasses.
I did notice maintenance exterior decorating work going on the outside of the building which improved greatly.
I loved the area and the hotel, but there is room for improvement within the nightly entertainment and room maintenance.
I also witnessed loud vocal arguments amongst restaurant supervisors and staff which was very unprofessional.
As a retired customer service Manager of 30 years its quite unacceptable to demonstrate said issues in front of tourists, customers within such an environment.
Overall my experience and visit to said hotel was to a degree a pleasant one.

My husband and I spent 5 nights here over Christmas and what a great choice it was. From the minute we arrived we were met with a warm reception and the check in process was painless. We had a room on the 6th floor with a pool view and the room was spotless and equipped with all we could wish for. Tea/coffee making facilities, safe. toiletries and English TV channels. We also had access to the rooftop area which was so peaceful.
We were on full board and could not fault the food at all. Plenty of it at every meal. The Gala dinner was superb. The dining room had been dressed with a festive theme and looked amazing. Never seen so much choice of food at dinner. Anyone who criticises this is a nit picker. A nice touch was that the Gala dinner included wine, water etc. Well done to the chefs - they must have worked so hard. We applaud them.
The pool area was clean with so many sunbeds there was no trouble finding one after lunch. A lifeguard was on duty and patrolling. A great job. A wonderful Christmas for us in a near perfect location.

These holidays were our first holidays as family and were simply perfect due to the hotel.
The cleaning ladies were lovely we called then "Holla girls" really sweet, everyday we had a surprise in our bedroom, or roses made out toilet paper or towels arranged as swans.
The staff in the restaurant was really amazing, they cheer up crancky children😊 and help them to eat better. Our 11 months old was amazed specually by Franchesca and Gregorio. They really made our meal time easier and enjoyable. The reception staff always available and realy kind. I really hope to get back not just for the amazing beach, but also to meet all the staff again.🥰

When my daughter Natalie and I arrived at the hotel reception we were checked in by Mr. Jose. Right from the start, he was very helpful, explained everything about the hotel, the facilities etc.and smiled all the time which is just what one wants when arriving anywhere after a long journey. Our room was large with two double beds, Tv, two large wardrobes, a safe etc.and in the center of the building overlooking two large swimming pools Jucusies and a view of the ocean, as requested. We hired bicycles and went swimming in the ocean, the beach is huge.
The main dining room is buffet service, on the first night in the dining room, we were disappointed with the selection of food but realized 2 nights later that we had not looked at the other food counters for alternatives. Because of that, we booked a table at the A La Carte restaurant on the second night, Natalie had a main of Salmon which was excellent, I chose the chicken, which I think died of old age. hard as brick and stringy. My veg was cold. So it was back to the main dining room and I must say the choice of different food dishes for breakfast and dinner was fantastic, the hot dishes could just be hotter. The wine and beverage service is fast, after ordering it is usually on the table before you return with your starter. The tables are cleared quietly and efficiently.
The staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and pleasant.
On the downside, there should be a waste bin in both the bedroom and the bathroom, also face towels should be provided. Workmen were working every day with lots of noise, drilling, stone cutting, etc. Booking.com should have warned us about that. The entertainment staff also very pleasant but the loudspeakers are extremely loud and if you want quiet, it's only when they are not entertaining. That is not their fault it is management who should be attending to that. One other point I disliked is the shower was not walk in as it should be, as we paid for a Superior room upgrade, it is over the bath and these are dangerous, too easy to slip.
We would certainly return to this hotel.

Arrived home this evening after a week's all inclusive stay, I have to say we had an absolutely amazing time here
the hotel is in an absolute perfect position so many bars and restaurants behind the hotel loads of entertainment.
Staff were all pretty friendly they seem to work such long hours, but always were approachable. to upgrade and have fancy cocktails, it only worked out at around 2 pounds but was so worth it ways, made fresh in front of u and looked beautiful I certainty made the most of them.
The cleaners do an outstanding job and cleaned the rooms everyday leaving clean towels.
while we were there they must have realised it was my husbands 30th birthday as there were cards up in the room when we came back the maid had left a bottle of bubbly and put chocolates on the bed along with a note we were so touched by the thoughtful gesture.
The food was quite repetitive however we don't mind as for what we paid for the holiday there was always something to eat and the snack bar was lovely and was open when the dinning room wasn't. The drinks were self service which also was good.
The hotel did well at managing the covid situation I was pretty impressed to see the lifeguard wiping all the steps going into the pool regularly and there is sanitiser everywhere we were also provided on arrival in the rooms with a small carry around gel and a face mask.
all in all I would definitely return lovely place thanks best hotel for making are holiday amazing after 2 years of not travelling xx michelle and elliot

Just returned from a weeks holiday at this hotel, had a great holiday. We went half board which I think was the right move for us, after speaking to people who were all inclusive.
Positives
Found all the staff working there to be very helpful and friendly, especially reception team
Room was huge, cleaned every day… towels changed about 5 times during our stay
No problems at all getting a sunbed (maybe different in high season)
As we bought our own alcohol, hotel prices very reasonable (€5.10 for a very large glass of house white wine and can of strong bow)
At Meal times the main restaurant ran like a well oiled machine, tables being cleaned and dirty plates being removed.
We used the a la carte once during our stay… my risotto was absolutely delicious, partners steak was very tough
Location is good , nice and central
Negatives
The food even during a week was quite ‘samey’, don’t get me wrong, you could always find something to eat. I like salads and continental breakfasts, my partner probably struggled more than me.
Shutting down of the restaurant at end of meal times… breakfast finished at 10am… if you turned up at 9.55 am expecting to grab a full English, probably fine food is being removed from the hot plates.
All in all a very enjoyable week, I would return, and maybe do bed and breakfast next time. Eating out at night is cheap in Tenerife, and it’s nice to waited on when you are on holiday.

Me and my wife had stopped at the hotel on two previous occasions and loved it . We decided to come again for my 65th birthday as a special treat, before I came I read all of the reviews for the last two months and admit was a little apprehensive as some of the reviews where not encouraging. On arrival the booking in was a breeze, the staff were so helpful and polite and we had assistance with our luggage to our room which was on the ground level. the room was fantastic and being on the ground floor it was ideal for us because we both struggle with walking.
Everything about the hotel was wonderful ! We found the choice and quality of the food was great, the choice of drinks at the bars was also great and all the staff who had dealing with were so helpful and friendly it was a joy to be there.
In all we had a fantastic time to the point that after two days I booked us back into the Best Tenerife in May !

Swift check in when we arrived with clear detail as to where we would locate anything we needed during our stay, receptionist was polite and the hotel looked clean.
We stayed on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the pool. The room was large and spacious and very clean. Complimentry drinks in the fridge and plenty of storage for clothes and shoes, nice not to live out of a suitcase for the stay.
The shower room was clean, the shower itself kept going from warm to scolding hot every time we used it, whilst it was painful at the time it didn't affect our stay.
The cleaners were lovely, polite and did a great job with keeping the room clean.
Pool area is spacious with plenty of sun beds, whilst the pool was unfortunately too cold to go in that didnt stop us from enjoying the sun. Would've been nice to have a swim but that's neither here nor there at this time of the year.
Food offered for most of the day, breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.
The food was edible, very repetitive but you'd always find something to eat.
Drinks are self service throughout the day apart from at dinner, you are offered table service for drinks at this time, and whilst it is nice it can be frustrating as staff are so busy tidying and clearing plates that it can be quite difficult to get another drink after the first one ordered.
All in all a lovely hotel, would definitely be back but not all inclusive and there were so many lovely looking restaurants around we want to try!
Thank you to all at the best Tenerife for a lovely stay 😁
We stayed on the 5th floor with a lovely view of the pool. The room was large and spacious and very clean. Complimentry drinks in the fridge and plenty of storage for clothes and shoes, nice not to live out of a suitcase for the stay.
The shower room was clean, the shower itself kept going from warm to scolding hot every time we used it, whilst it was painful at the time it didn't affect our stay.

It’s not letting me add the photos (saying image sizes are too large😩😩😩) We had the most amazing Christmas holiday! I went with my mum and dad! We flew out 22nd-29th December! The hotel was absolutely fantastic, it was clean, the staff were all so friendly & the animation team were bloody brilliant! The animation team made Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day so very special! It was amazing for the kids! It won’t let me upload the videos sadly only photos, but the videos really would have done it justice😍😍 !
We paid for extra for the premium rooms which granted us access for the rooftop pool and bar, that was amazing for the adults only, really peaceful and just nice to get away at times to relax. The rooms were a great size, very clean, our view from our balcony was a sea view, woke up to the most beautiful sunrises and able to watch the beautiful sunsets on the evening😍!
The cleaners were fab, came in everyday to clean, and put new towels in! We left them a tip at the end because they were just wonderful! Every evening around 17:30 the cleaners would knock on your door and offer you some chocolates and any more towels, they were just so lovely and friendly!
The all inclusive food and drink was fab! Lots of choice! The only thing I would say is dinner ends at 21:30, so I think a snack bar from 22:00- midnight would be really ideal, as I found myself getting hungry again late at night. I’ve been to other hotels that offer a late night snack bar and it works really well!
The bar was a self service which was brilliant! Masks were to be worn when going up to the bar and around the restaurant, but then once seated you could remove your face masks.
We are already looking at booking to come here again next year it was absolutely brilliant! The hotel was so just beautiful, so clean! Would really recommend! There’s something to do for everyone kids & adults!
You’re also a 5min walk from all the bars and restaurants if you fancy a night out somewhere different. They were all bloody fantastic as well! I honestly can’t fault this holiday! It was unreal!
Thank you to everyone who made our holiday super special! & a massive thank you to all the animation team, you guys smash it 24/7 such a asset to the hotel!
Lots of the love, Charlie Sally & Tony x x x
