We choose Crystal River Inn to spend our anniversary weekend. We were hoping for a delightful and beautiful room to hold up in and binge watch HGTV while drinking wine. Our room was the Nueces in the Rock House. First impressions were disappointing as we entered through the shared kitchen area with its linoleum floor and kitchen cabinets that reminded...

This was my third stay at the Crystal River Inn. I've gone the past 3 years for my birthday. As you approach the property you are welcomed by a beautiful display of Christmas light. Once you enter the door the sitting room is inviting. PauIla & Cathy are just as pleasant in person as on the phone. The Medina in...

My Wife and I decided to do something different and go to the Hill Country instead of heading to the DFW or Houston Area for Christmas like we usually do. We had an awesome time at the Crystal River Inn. We were in the Rio Grande and it was like staying in a little home away from home mini-apartment. We...

The main house is interesting and beautiful, but what they don't tell you is they have other buildings with rooms that are furnished with antiques but are not part of the historical house. When we arrived, we walked behind the main house through a parking lot and into a little building which was not quaint and lovely. We did not...

We are sorry at this guest's reaction to our Rock House. At this very moment, there are 4 rooms full of people over there who REQUESTED the Rock House! It is single story, built in the 1940's, and decorated no differently than our 8 other rooms. Everyone's taste is different, so we try to have something for everyone. The inn...

Breakfast was plentiful, satisfying, and prepared in house by excellent hands. We will be returning without a doubt. We made it a mission to get...

Absolutely great experience. The beautiful victorian atmosphere mixed with delicious home cooked food makes this place worth the stay. I highly recommend to anyone who needs to plan a wedding or any other large catering event.

I stayed here for a week over the end of the summer with my husband and we had such a nice stay! The bananas fosters breakfast made by Teri is to die for and Paula, Regina, Cathy and the team made us feel at home and so welcome. They bent over backwards to help us enjoy the area of San...

Overpriced bed and breakfast. AC doesn't even begin to keep up with Texas heat. Old old buildings. Low electrical. No showers only hand held with no shower curtains. Breakfast is fair. Went across street for donuts. Convenient to downtown for walks which is nice.

We are always sorry when someone has a negative experience, and this is no exception. CarlaP, if you are reading this would you call me? Would be glad to try to make it up to you somehow! I'm not sure which room you were in and I'd like to know, but twice on this 100degree weekend, guests in two separate...
