We stayed at the Katy House this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The rooms were homey and comfortable, the environment was warm and welcoming, and the other guests (and of course Sallie and Bruce) were friendly. We paid with a half off coupon but decided we would definitely pay full price to return. Thanks for a lovely...

Delightful! Sallia and Bruce were wonderful hosts and made us feel like we were seeing old friends! the house was warm and inviting! I actually sat still long enough to work on a puzzle and visit with other guests. And the breakfast was beyond DELICIOUS!

The service was excellent; homemade breakfast was delicious; and we have made lifelong friends with Al Kazonir and Sharron Vaughn - who were inn sitting. PLUS, there are homemade chocolate chip cookies in the cookie jar available 24 hours a day -- JUST LIKE HOME! The place is just wonderful --

The house alone was beautiful. Located in a small, cozy town, the trip was very rewarding. The hot breakfasts were delightfully delious. Our hosts had everything prepared for our visit and treated us like family. I never had such a marvelous time.

Historic building is beautiful, warm and comfortable. The hosts are the most gracious people......possibly the most gracious I've ever met. Bruce and Sallie truly make you feel welcome. I spent an unusual amount of time just hanging out in the dining and living rooms because of it. My room was terrific, I slept well and my every need was anticipated....

Sallie, Bruce (and Buddy) are the kind of hosts who were meant to own and run a bed and breakfast establishment. They do everything they can to make sure their guests are comfortable, well fed and relaxed. The breakfast was, hands down, the best we've ever had in a B & B. Smithville, TX. is not a major city, but...

Well, this was the first time that we ever visited a B & B twice, but we did and we were very pleased. Nothing had changed and the hospitality was just as great as before. Breakfast is awesome and the hosts are great. The only downfall is the bathtubs, which are difficult to get in and out of, but it...

The Katy House was wonderful. The innkeepers, Sallie and Bruce, were delightful. They made my wife and I feel welcomed and part of the family. The Blue Bonnet Room was beautifully decorated with blue bonnets, especially, the old claw tub. Moreover, the decorum of the bed and breakfast and the guest room was cozy and inviting. The food also was...
