This my 3rd visit here. I love it! Now Spatterdock is our annual salon trip destination. I have stayed in The Gallery twice and Barnstormer once. It is great to have kayaks, canoes, and lake tours available. The kitchens are stocked with dishes, pots and pans. All you need is your food and drinks. This is a home away from... More

This is a fantastic place to escape the World. My wife and I stayed in the Barnstormer Guest House, which is actually an old barn wonderfully converted on the inside to comfortably accommodate 10-12 adults in full comfort! There is no cell phone coverage at all in this small town, which is what first attracted us to this setting. The... More

This was our first visit to the Cadfo Lake. The moment we turned into the neighborhood, we were all jaw-dropped by how unusual and magical this place looks! We stayed for one night at the Dockweed on our way to Arkansas from Houston. The cottage, although looks clean, had a strong smoke smell. Probably people used to smoke inside. We... More

My mom has loved Caddo Lake for a very long time, so she made reservations to spend December 11-13 at Spatterdock Cabin. We had a party of 7, plus my two-year-old nephew, and we all had a blast. Taking your coffee on a pier in the middle of a bayou is fantastic. The mellow weather, dramatic Spanish moss, and the... More

The wife and I stayed at Barnstormer for a few days and were most pleased. Billy and Dottie are kind and gracious. Chaz took us on an excellent tour of the lake. He is engaging and a wealth of knowledge about the lake, as well as the plants, animals etc. The accomadations were clean and comfortable. We had no difficulty... More

Spatterdock was a lovely house on Lake Caddo. I don't have words to describe the incredible peacefulness out there. And the strange beauty of the area is unlike anything I've seen before. My husband and I, along with our 3 kids, and my brother and sister, went out there to unwind before going to a wedding in Texas. We had... More

My husband and I wanted to get away for the weekend to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary. We stayed in the gallery and absolutely loved it! The cabin was big enough to easily sleep 11, and came equipped with everything you needed to enjoy your stay except food. We enjoyed kayaking around the lake during the day and sitting on... More

Comfortable & clean. Good location & good views. A good cabin for families. With no cell service in Uncertain, we would have felt more comfortable with a land line in case we had any problems. The wifi service was good when it was connected. Seems it doesn't come on until 5pm and goes off sometime in the night.

We LOVED the little house and its location. Very charming and right on the lake! But there is **NO** cell coverage there, not even an occasional bar to text. No coverage for miles, as a matter of fact. The owner advertises free WIFI, but it was not working the day we were there. The ONLY way to communicate with the... More

Spent two nights at this wonderful cottage. Everything mentioned in other reviews is accurate. Dottie was super easy to work with. An added bonus for us was being able to bring our dogs. They loved roaming around the huge back yard while we relaxed in the glider. (I might suggest you watch your pets closely when you take them out... More
