I opted for the Parry Lodge because I could stay in a fun, quirky, independent place for about the same price as a large chain hotel. We did enjoy the stay. Here's the good and the bad: Good: The room was large and comfortable. It was dated but that's part of the charm. Everything was clean and worked well. It...

We stayed here in Feb of 2016, and I think I am going to book this place again! I loved it, it was cozy, and old timey. Lots of history in this place. The bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and the food was good.

I booked this place specifically because of it's background (home to countless movie stars from the 30's - 50's), and its convenient location (halfway between Lake Powell and Grand Canyon). It lived up to the reputation .... I felt like I was back in the 50's as soon as I walked in! Yes the decor is dated - it's supposed...

Was in Kanab for one night for the Writers Conference. Had made arrangements to stay at a friend's, but my night got difficult when my kids wouldn't fall asleep at our friends and Kanab PD became suspicious of me driving around so long so late at night. After I got the grumpy officer to let me alone (22yo single mom...

We stayed for a couple nights Mid October 2016, in the James Garner cabin, paying $120 a night. It was tiny, cozy and very old school, but good enough. I was reminded of my childhood in the 50's with the green and yellow bathroom tile. It was convenient to be able to park directly in the front. The weather was...

Our tour of 35 stopped at Parry Lodge for lunch. The buffet is grand. Everything you could want for lunch and more. They even had a variety of fresh baked cookies. My favorite was the cranberry nut. Service was fast and friendly.

This place was immediately charming when I saw it when driving up the main street. The main lobby area is well decorated with memorabilia from the movies and television's Golden Age in the United States. The rooms definitely have a feel of being from the middle of the 20th century yet are very well maintained. This week is going into...

excellent location in Kanab, within walking distance for several good local restaurants. This is also a great location if you want to go to more parks than one, easy access to Bryce canyon, Zion Canyon, Grand canyon and Lake Powell, all are within day trips. This is part of little Hollywood and several movies were shot here, some of them...

Great motel, except for the carpet in the room Great location, friendly staff and good rates. Bonus feature - they show old western movies every night in the old barn, really cool 👍🏼 And Kanab is a really cool little town from where you have really good access to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park - we loved it

We were able to stay at the Parry for one night on our way to Zion. Soooo much fun!! It was a step back into my childhood while I traveled with my folks. The hotel itself is a true motor lodge, quirky but charming....it is dated, yes, but that's the fun. The staff was accommodating and very pleasant. The night...
