It would have been so easy to make this great. They didn’t turn the heat on in our condo before we arrived and then couldn’t send maintenance for over 12 hours. The fix was skllly to unlock a box in the wall and turn on the heat so we could control it through a remote. In the meantime used fireplace and oven to heat this place up.

Condo 5051: Absolutely lousy directions for checking in after hours (they close at 5 PM) and then once you get the key, HOW do you find the condo? No signage! From the parking garage, you must drag your suitcase and gear outside thru snow to reach the condo entrance. We were so upset we tried to cancel right then and there. Map is worthless. The condo is very close to the ski lifts and plaza shops including ski rental; a good thing. Condo had cheap furniture, but hey, it's for skiers. The fireplace didn't work and the tub didn't drain so we had to have maintenance come in. They fixed it quickly. No kitchen cloths and coffee for 2 mornings only. Quiet condo and a comfortable bed. But the arrival experience was bad enough to think about another place. For the high price, we were surprised amenities were missing in the bathroom and see above comments.

I recently stayed in 5004 at Resort Plaza condominiums with my whole family (parents, brother/sister in law, husband, 2 year old). The location is extremely convenient to the bottom of the lift, so that is a huge positive. At the base of Park City there are a few restaurants and shops so they are steps out the door which is great. Our condo was spacious and had games which were fun. The town of Park City is a short shuttle ride away, and the shuttle is a quick 1 minute walk from the building. Issues with the resort itself: 1. Trash: To take out your trash, you have to walk outside the building. This is pretty inconvenient in the cold/snow, or even in nice weather. 2. Maid service: they say a maid comes once if you say for 7 nights. We had someone come one day to change sheets and replace towels, but no actual cleaning was done. 3. "Concierge": I called before arriving for assistance with booking a massage at a spa (they don't have one) and with booking a babysitter for one night. They did not have information on either question. The person I spoke to admitted to googling "spas" and reading off his results. 4. Internet: as other reviewers have mentioned, its pretty bad. 5. Laundry: Not in the unit. There is a coin operated machine on the first floor ($2.50 in quarters per load). This was also very inconvenient and unanticipated. Due to these issues we would not stay here again and would not recommend others to stay here. It would be fine if you were coming for a short time and proximity to ski lifts was a priority. For longer stays, due to the trash and laundry setup, it is suboptimal especially for the price.

Thank you for your review - we are happy to hear that you found the Resort Plaza vacation rental comfortable and spacious in addition to a convenient ski-in ski-out location in Park City Utah. The Resort Plaza trash disposal can be an inconvenience especially with the large amount of snow we receive each winter. Our bellmen are available to assist all guests with a variety of needs and would have been available to dispose of the trash for you during your stay. We've had similar requests for trash disposal by other Resort Plaza guests who contacted the front desk for assistance. In-room washers/dryers are available in select units and are advertised on our website as to whether or not the vacation rental offers an in-room washer/dryer. We apologize for the minimal housekeeping service - you should have received a full mid-week cleaning service rather than just an exchange of sheets and towels. Our housekeeping department certainly could have serviced your condominium with an additional full cleaning service during your stay - was the front desk made aware of the housekeeping issue? I have forwarded your review onto our management staff and apologize for the inconveniences you experienced.

I had never been to Park City so had no real frame of reference as to where to stay. I was traveling with my 2 young adult kids and we had come to ski. I ended up booking with ski.com (another story) into the Resort Plaza. Which, from the pictures of the exterior look very average. However, we were so happy with everything about the condo. It is in the center of the little village with shops and a few restaurants. It was a stone's throw from the lift. The unit of the Resort Plaza was 5051 and had everything you could possibly want. It isn't super luxurious but really so clean, well equipped, they could use a better mattress in the bedroom or at least a foam topper and perhaps another blanket, otherwise just perfect! My daughter and I shared the big king and my son slept on the queen pullout. Just I can't compliment them enough. We had a one bedroom with a nice size living area. A well equipped kitchen with all appliances. Just excellent.

These are condos that Identity Properties manages for the owners. Therefore some comments would probably only apply to the specific condo we rented. Starting with the "sweet". Fantastic location! Less than 100 yards from the building to the lift. I'm not sure there is real ski in ski out at Park City Mountain. Most everyone has to walk some of the way. This was as close as you could get. The living room furniture and bed were very comfortable. Place was very clean. Now, the not so great but not so horrible. Had issues with the hot water in certain parts of the 2 bedroom condo. Sometimes it took 3 minutes or more to get hot water up to the 4th floor condo. Evidently the water tank is on the ground floor. And the bathrooms needed updating. Now for the Bitter. I would probably rate this place higher if it wasn't for the following issue: The volume of the live music coming from outside the venue next door was extremely loud on some of the 8 days we were there. The place next door is called the "Corner Store" and is popular for apres ski but some of the bands are way too loud and the sound bounces off the buildings. On some occasions I felt as though the band was playing in the next room. I often wished I were deaf. We were in 5034 which is an end unit and were facing the main lodge and mountain. The volume was unbearable. I enjoy live music but not rattling my condo walls when I'm trying to relax after a hard day of skiing. I can't say for sure if it was that loud for other condos further away from the "Corner Store". But I would say you may want to rent a condo on the other side of the building that looks out on the skating rink. I believe they are odd numbered. Maybe soundproof window glass would help. Or a noise ordinance that has a decibel limit? I called the desk to see if they had any influence over the matter but they told me they did not. Anyway, someone should talk to the management of that establishment. They are not good neighbors. On the plus side after we finally complained someone offered to change our rooms. However, it would have been too much work to pack and unpack. As the vacation was almost ended we declined the offer. Fortunately the music was usually over by 6:00- 6:30. Had a great week though. And again, the location is great!

Thank you for your review of the Resort Plaza Condominiums. I am sorry to hear that the noise from the plaza area stores/establishments was uncomfortable. There is a quite a bit of activity (music, shoppers, etc.) that takes place during the winter (and summer) seasons at the base of the Park City Mountain. Identity Properties front desk can certainly move our guests to another vacation rental either at the same location or a different location (based on availability) if our guests are unhappy - I am sorry you opted to decline our offer to move you to another condominium. The Resort Plaza units on the opposite side of the plaza area tend to be a bit quieter.

We got there late in the afternoon it was very cold. We were given the wrong instructions on how to get there by a rude man over the phone (called reservations) he sent us to the wrong place. Location is great though. Right there on base. Decor of the condo was basic and very country style. Kitchen was nice. They had a washer and dryer which was very useful. We stayed at unit 5049. INTERNET SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE. Owners have internet but unit guests are not allowed to use it, we had to use the general internet for the resort which was pretty bad. We still needed to work and was very inconvenient having to go somewhere else to get internet. We will be back at park city but not to this condo.

We had a wonderful experience staying at the resort plaza . Our accommodations were lovely and the check in experience was great. Our condo was walking distance to the lifts which made it easy to walk back and fourth with small children. Our family also enjoyed the pools and hot tubs after a long day on the slopes

We just got back from our Thanksgiving stay at the Resort Plaza. We booked through Identity Properties. The staff was friendly and knew what they were talking about. The condo was beautifully furnished and located right at the base of the mountain close to lifts and shops. We will definitely be back.

Staying at the base of the Park City Mountain resort was a great convenience but we did not have good luck with the property managers, Identity Properties, Inc.. We arrived late on December 26th, with flights delayed by snow and a slow drive into the mountains. We knew in advance that we would arrive after the offfice closed so we asked for a late check in where they leave the keys in a lock box. When we arrived, our first problem was finding the lock box. We were directed to the Marsac Mill building for the lock box but it was hard to find it at night and in the snow. After wandering around for 15 minutes we found the box, I opened the envelope but there were no keys! There was a number on the box but when I called it we got redirected to an off hours switch board. They then had someone call us back who had to get dressed and come out to meet us after 20 minutes only to discover that they were not our property manager. So they gave us a different number to call and then another person finally came out to meet us after another 20 to 30 minutes. It was now about 1am. The young man who came out was helpful and friendly but at that time of night we had waited over an hour to find the box and finally get keys. The young man was very helpful to find the car parking garage, and then wind our way through the buildings to get to our condo. Without him and in the snow, I suspect we would have wandered with all our suitcases and skis / boards for another 20 minutes so we were glad he agreed to help us and bring a luggage cart. Once we reached our room, it was very cold and we could not get the heat working. We turned on the gas fireplace but the bedrooms were very cold. By the next day, we still could not get any heat so they brought in space heaters and then on the 3rd day they had finally fixed the heat. All the people working for Identity Properties were young, probably early 20s and the organization did not seem very good. In addition to forgetting our keys, we also had to go back and ask for our pool pass. The people working there were all friendly, but sadly not very effective. We had waited until late to book our condo and it was one of the last available, 5048. It was very spacious and the location at Silver Mill West building was very convenient. We could easily pop in for a short break from skiiling and then head back out with a minimum of carrying gear around. The room could be set up as 2 basic hotel rooms and a loft style room (5046, 5047, 5048) but in our case they were all rented together. The decor was dated but overall it was spacious and well equipped. You have to walk through the resort to reach the pool and hot tub which is located in the Lodge at Mountain Village. Looking over the resort layout and options, if we go again, we would most likely book early and try to get into the Lodge at Mountain Village, The Lowell or the Marriott Mountainside. All of them seemed to be equally convenient locations but had better amenities.

I am sorry to hear you had difficulty finding the after-hours lockbox at the Resort Plaza. After checking with our manager on duty, it seems you had been given incorrect after-hours instructions by the third party travel company you had booked through (I understand that you initially arrived at the wrong check in location for the Resort Plaza; the Resort Plaza is located directly behind the Lowell building). I apologize that the keys were not placed in your check-in packet as they should have been. I have shared your comments with our Front Office Supervisor to prevent this situation from occurring again at the Resort Plaza. Our maintenance department reported that they did assist with the heat issue/operation of the thermostat. For our guests who arrive after hours, pool passes are distributed the following day upon official check in. I’m glad you found our staff friendly and that you enjoyed the ski-in, ski-out location and spaciousness of the Resort Plaza condominiums.
