Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This property has a fantastic location, right at the base of the mountain beside the First Time lift. Depending on which building you're staying in and the snow conditions, you may be able to ski right to the steps leading down to your building. The property is older (built in the late 1970s) so don't expect to have as many electrical outlets as you'd find in newer properties. In addition, each unit is individually owned so it's up to the owner for decor and keeping things maintained and that can vary significantly among units. My unit was in Building 2 which means you can ski just past the lift maze for First Time and you'll run right into it, so that was very convenient. Each building has a heated ski locker room, suitable for leaving your skis. While the doors to the common areas and the condo units all use a keypad for entry, the lockers use old-fashioned combination locks, for the most part. But that's nice because you don't have to worry about losing keys or not having enough for all the adults in your unit. Building 1 has a small room suitable for a gathering. Our group of 30-something had a couple of dinners in there. The same space in Building 2 is a small gym. The large heated pool is between Buildings 1 and 2 and there's also a hot tub in the same location. There's a smaller heated pool (or is it a large hot tub?!) located between Buildings 3 and 4. The buildings each have underground parking and one parking spot is allocated for each unit. Our 3 BR unit was on the ground floor which was handy but there is an elevator so you don't have to worry about the stairs. The master bedroom had a door on to the porch and there was another door from the living room to the porch. The master bath was huge and L-shaped with a free-standing tub as well as a built-in shower and a double vanity. The other two bedrooms were outfitted with a queen bed in one room and a split king in the other. We were able to have housekeeping join the twins into a king, which was very nice. These two bedrooms share a bath in the hall between them. It only had a shower, but it was very large. It would have been nice to have had more places to hang towels, wash cloths and wet swimsuits in this bathroom. There was no counter space at all and the under-sink storage had extra toilet paper, tissues and towels. I was in the room with the split king and the chest of drawers in there really needs some work. Many of the drawers would simply tip out toward you if you pulled them out too far. We also found one of the chairs at the dining table was quite rickety and made sure to let management know about it as we did not want to take any blame if a future guest was injured on it. This unit had an L-shaped sofa as well as a second sofa with a sleeper bed so there was plenty of space to sit, which is nice as in some ski condos don't seem to be prepared to have everyone lounging at the same time! The kitchen is large enough for two people to work at the same time but no more, which is fine. There's an open bar/counter between the kitchen and the living area which opens up the space nicely. Bring a small extension cord if you like to keep your phone/tablet beside your bed and want to charge them overnight because the electrical outlets are not necessarily easy to reach. There is a bus stop just at the end of the property and it's not a difficult walk to reach the main Park City Mountain Resort base, which has a transit center and virtually all of the bus lines stop there, so it's easy to get around town that way. This property is all about location and has it in spades. The units are older but perfectly serviceable though some of the furniture may need some care, depending on how recently it's been refreshed.

Went there for skiing- next to a lift that takes you to main area. Well maintained pool, sauna and locker room On site management that helps with little things (e.g. fireplace). The main town is a long walk or a short bus ride (or Uber) but manageable and easy. Each condo is different, but the people above can be louder than you would like, but that is expected. All in all quite a nice place.

My husband and I have been coming to PC for nearly 40 years and have stayed all over town. We stayed at Snow Flower for 3 nights (one last March until Covid shut down the mountain, and the other 2 this March) It is true ski-in, ski-out, which is its greatest asset. Both units were dreary and dated (like the furniture in my grandmother's house, and I'm almost old enough to be a grandmother). There is a nice outdoor hot tub; however, there were large groups that took it over at peak times (I counted 50 people in the pool - unacceptable during a pandemic!), so we went later at night. Also, there is coin laundry, but no washer/dryer in the units. In short, IMO the much higher price point for ski-in/out is not justified vs. other condos across the street or parking lot

The Snow Flower was a great place to stay. We were there in the fall, and the location is spectacular. Close to activities around Park City, and literally you can open your door and start hiking/biking/skiing/gawking at the mountains. Staff was very helpful and accommodating as well.

We loved our condo, we love the peace and quiet, the weather was perfect and the Snowflower staff went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. This is our 7th year visiting Park City and we always stay at the Snowflower condos. We love the free buses that take you throughout the city and beyond which makes for a nice afternoon. Golf courses in the area are also some of the most challenging and beautiful you will find anywhere. Can't wait until next August.

We found the facility old, in need of maintenance, the pools small (one was totally closed for repair), the condo small, over-sized furniture, out of date and in need of an update. Local restaurants mediocre with bad service, and public spaces crowded. We booked our condo for a month, and left for home after 2 weeks.

I lived in a second floor studio unit during May, June and into July and I received a very attractive long-term 'monthly' rental rate rather than a nightly short-term rate. The studio balcony overlooked a grassy area with picnic tables & tall trees, nice view from the balcony of the PC ski hill area and lifts, beautiful, very cool breezy living right on the ski mountain. The unit I was in was mostly quiet with occasional bumping & thumping from upstairs. No central air conditioner in these units that I was aware of and not needed as far as I was concerned, the weather was perfect, plenty of breeze with the balcony sliding glass door open. Nice kitchen equipped with everything needed to cook meals at home. Very nice bathroom too. Housekeeping visited once a week. A very nice longer term trouble free stay in Park City!

This condo is in a great location. It is truly ski in ski out. Easy, short walk to shops and restaurant. Nice clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped with plenty of dishes. Good drop off zone by front door to leave boots, etc.

I’ve been on 30-40 ski vacations and have to say that this is the worst condo I’ve ever booked. First of all the condo office is in a dispute with the company who rented me my condo. Park City Rental Properties was the agent I booked with. The on premise office basically told me to That the wouldn’t help me with anything when I walked in. Who wants to be in the middle of this dispute while on vacation. I told them I had already printed out a shipping label from this address to ship my skies home and they told me I wouldn’t be able to leave them for pick up because Park City Rental Properties is my agent so I would have to print out new shipping labels. I asked to use their printer in the Snow Flower Office and again was told NO! But when the person behind the desk found out I was a doctor, they had no problem asking me about Corona virus precautions. Really!!!! Besides the ski in and out to the lifts this place is awful from top to bottom. The condo is so dated and dingy looking that we didn’t want to sit down. We were reluctant to use any dishes or utensils because of the awful appearance. When on vacation in the mountains, I don’t want to feel like I’m taking a shower with unheated mountain water!!! There was NO hot water at all. Nothing!! Nada!! Cold shower!!! C’mon!!!!! After shower derm-abrasion with the towels was a real eye opener! Cold shower then derm-abrasion with sand paper like towels. I will never, ever book this place again and will do my best to tell others that they should steer clear!!!!!!

Response from , General Manager at Snow Flower Condominiums
Responded 9 Mar 2020
I would like to follow up with you on your review of your recent stay at Snow Flower and clarify that we are not in a dispute with Park City Rental Properties. We are two separate entities. Since the condos at Snow Flower are all individually owned, each owner is able to choose who they would like to manage their property. Most owners choose Snow Flower Property Management as their management company as they want their guests to have our on-site 24 hour services available to them for such things as water heaters going out and something as simple as printing shipping labels. I am so sorry that Park City Rental Properties did not communicate with you that our services were not available to you. These types of situations are something we try and avoid as it makes us look like we are unwilling to help the guest of owners who don’t use our services. It becomes a very awkward situation that would be avoided with a little communication on their part. I believe Ari on our staff tried to explain this to you at our desk as best he could without being rude. We strive ourselves on our level of service and try to go above and beyond guest expectations as we understand that we help families make memories when they come visit us. We love being part of that and am so sorry you experienced what you did while you were here.
