We stayed at Halladay's harvest barn Inn in October, 2014 on a Leafpepper adventure. We had a great stay and thoroughly enjoyed the innkeeper. She was extremely accommodating and cooked a wonderful breakfast. And her chocalate chip cookies are some of the best.

Thank you for visiting us and we are so glad that you had a great stay! We love our leaf peepers and although the views are extraordinary at that time of the year, the CT River is ever changing and beautiful really any time of the year! Come again...the cookie jar is always full!

This is a quaint B&B with spectacular views of the river and mountains! The Inn is beautifully decorated and the rooms are cozy and comfortable. The Inn keepers, Gayle and John, are friendly warm people who go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. The food is scrumptious and I couldn't get enough of those delicious cookies. This is just a great place. Gayle and Jon are great. They are friendly and helpful, and Gayle is the best cook! The accommodations are wonderful and the food is outstanding. The views are beautiful and grounds are well kept. We loved the beautiful Rhode Island Red Chickens, the trout in the fish pond, and the lovely surrounding areas. There...

Thank you for the kind words! We LOVE our scrapbooking groups! You ladies were a blast and it was such a pleasure to have you all stay with us. Its funny how each group comes and makes a distinct impression on us...you guys will be forever known as the "gummies soaked in vodka are better than fish soaked in vodka"...

On a hill overlooking water and New Hampshire , great porch to sit out on and relax. Gayle was friendly and inviting. The rooms themselves are a bit small, but clean, nicely decorated, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom to the room seemed more like an afterthought, not matching the standard of the room itself. The shower was very compact...

We so appreciate your feedback on your stay! We are glad you enjoyed the beautiful view off the porch and the location of the inn. The porch seems to be the PLACE to sit and relax, watch the river go by. It will be hard for me to put the porch furniture away for the winter! We hope you will...

Thank you! We really enjoyed our time with you both. Although we like for it to be busy here all the time, it is nice when it is a slower time and we get to enjoy each person who comes to stay and get to know them on a more personal level. I enjoyed talking with you both and having...

Gayle & Jon, the innkeepers at Harvest Barn Inn were gracious, friendly and helpful with information about the area. The Inn is a former home which sits on a high, private road with other homes, and has a pond, garden and chicken coop, as well as plenty of parking on an adjacent lot. The breakfast of stuffed french toast with...

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We value your feedback as a way to continually improve our guests' experience. Although the Riverview Room is one of our guests’ favorite rooms, the close proximity of that room to the lobby does tend to make that room less private. We are presently working on new doors...

This place is outstanding because of its incredibly gracious innkeepers, Gayle and Jon. Helpful and beyond accommodating. Great dinner recommendation, outstanding breakfast -- I asked Gayle for a couple of her scones for my son, and not only did she give me the scones, she gave me the recipe. Breakfast out on their beautiful porch? No problem. What was truly...
