Make no mistake...this is not a quaint Vermont inn. This is a set of downscale cabins with some serious limitations. The cabins are run down, the hot water reeks of rotten eggs (sulfur), and the windows are in poor condition. We heard animals scurrying above the ceiling at night. The breakfast was disappointing...pour hot water into instant oatmeal, condiments displayed...

We stayed at the Cozy Cottages last night. It was a lovely cabin, number 3. It had a bedroom with a queen bed, and also had 2 twin beds. It felt like a blast from the past, the kind of cabin my folks used to takes us to. The cabin was very clean and had plenty of towels and linens....

Very rustic, a little bit retro, very comfortable bed. I grew up in Rutland, VT, and drove past here many times when it was "The Adams Cottages." The rooms were well laid out, great amenities. Owners Ursula and her husband have kept the original charm of The Adams, while adding their own little touches of whimsy.

The cabins are in dire need of repairs, they are some what clean. Our cabin smelled of smoke, our friends AC didn't work and they paid extra for it. The ad for the cabins are not what you get. wouldn't recommend this place unless you have no other choice.

Older cottages but very comfortable and quit. Located in a great area for leaf looking and other activities. Would recommend just remember they are older cottages. The winery is nice and a free tasting for guest.

My friends and I spent couple of days here. Wonderful place. Quiet and relaxing. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. It is a beautiful setting, you are surrounded by vineyards and animals. There are 2 ponds on the property, outdoor pool. Friendly ducks walking around waiting for you to feed them, couple playful Boston terriers, bunnies, chickens. And a...

We just returned home from a long weekend at Cozy Cottages & Otter Valley Winery and can't stop talking about it. Such a great place! Beautiful surroundings, vineyards, mature maple trees, ponds, animals. Our cottage had a comfortable king bed, small bathroom, it was very clean and had all the amenities you would expect from a good hotel (air conditioning,...

Very expensive for poor quality. This cabin (#16) needs major updating. The curtains appear to be 1950 vintage and are in a sorry state. There is only tiny shelf space in the bathroom which has a small stand alone sink, the worst shower head I have ever seen (at 5 feet tall the non adjustable spray shot over my head)...

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at Cozy Cottages for a weekend getaway. Immediately upon arriving, we were treated like 'family' by Ursula and Steve and their adorable daughter Sophia. The cottage was clean, and their wine was exceptional. I highly recommend visiting their establishment for a stay, or just for the wine sampling alone! We will DEFINITELY be repeat...
