This was probably our 4th or 5th trip back. For us it is a pleasant get away. Beds are wonderfully comfortable and breakfasts. . . well, I challenge you to leave hungry. We have found that there are a wonderful assortment of fruits, always a yummy carb and a delightful egg dish and some sort of meat. Our biggest disappointment...

Management response:

We very much appreciate the 4-star review. When we started our B&B, our first priority was to provide superior beds, pillows, and linens. Second, we wanted the dining experience to be second to none. Unfortunately, prior owners neglected the outside for over 30 years leaving much work to be done. I do wish you had addressed your concern directly to...

We booked a room here due to its proximity to Green Mountain College in Poultney, about 10 minutes away. The marble inn has very high ceilings, beautiful wallpaper, and top-shelf linens and mattresses; the breakfast was also beautiful as well as plentiful and delicious. I look forward to returning to this most hospitable inn.

This is the second time I have stayed. The facility is beautiful and the staff warm and friendly. The rooms are nice and breakfast was freshly made and delicious. We ate at a nearby restaurant which was walking distance. The park across the street was a nice backdrop.

We were struck in Fair Haven because of a snowstorm, and the wonderful folks put my family up for the evening. The beds were outstanding, the rooms were perfect, and the breakfast was amazing. If you're passing through Fair Haven, stop by this place for an evening. Or, better yet, make a reservation and go for the weekend. It's situated...

This mid 19th century house it all charm once you get into the lobby. The help is nothing but delightful, and accommodating. The rooms are more than adequate in size but are well maintained and clean. Local TV and free wifi is great. 12 foot ceilings and moldings are beautiful. They even had umbrellas at the door for guest use....

My grandmother and I stayed at this Inn while visiting my sister at Green Mountain College. The couple that runs it is so kind and the place is beautiful. It was clean and peaceful and very quaint. It was also decorated beautifully for the holidays and we loved the breakfast! If you stay here you must try the waffles (with...

After seeing the opulance of the Marble Mansion Inn, we recently talked our daughter into holding her wedding there. Sharon(owner) & Teresa went out of their way to accommodate our every need. As a guest, i must admit I've never felt so comfortable in a room that wasn't my own. Breakfast made you want to linger around the table &...
