We (my boyfriend and I) just returned from our second stay at the Stone Boat Farm (this last for four nights). It's a lovely, relaxed little place run by a really sweet, genuine, helpful couple, Geoff and Christiane (Chris). I really don't know where to start! We stayed in the Magic Mountain room both times. It's cozy, with a very...

We loved this B&B. Although it is not the traditional type B&B, it served our purposes very well. The beds were very comfortable, the backyard was beautiful, the owners were full of information regarding the surrounding sites, places to eat, etc. If you're looking for something a little different, this might meet your needs.

Was here last year and loved it!! Just checking out tripadvisor as I made our reservations. The owner, Geoff and his wife Chris were outstanding. Not only were the breakfasts out of this world but the stories they shared made me think that we still have so much to do. By the end of the day, after the hikes and...

Our stay at Stone Boat Farm began with the owner, Geoff, inviting us to take a seat on his couch-- to fill out some paperwork and to see what we wanted to do that afternoon and how he could help. One of the options was kayaking, which sounded great to us. We got settled while he loaded the kayaks into...

I've traveled to Vermont for years and the only place I now stay is at the Stone Boat Farm. Well-kept rooms. Excellent location within the state and right next to a picturesque brook. Vermont at its best. The host and hostess couldn't be more gracious and welcoming. My wife and I will be going back to Vermont again in July...

I felt the inn was misrepresented by the photo they have on their website. The rooms you actually stay in are in a cement building right next to a very loud road. We visited in July and they did not offer any air conditioning in the room, which turned quite sweltering. They offer hiking for pets but are quite rigid on...

We spent 3 nights at Stoneboat for a ski holiday after Christmas 2008. What a wonderful stay we had and we would definitely go back there for our next trip to VT. Great comfort and great value. The room- one of the two family rooms we stayed had a great size. It's slightly dated but very clean and very cosy-...

Stone Boat Farm B & B was very comfortable, clean, accessible and private. The owners made every effort to make us at home. Every morning breakfast was ready and waiting for us in the "Common Room" - fresh baked goods, fruit, juice, steaming coffee, milk, cereals and teas. The self-serve breakfast setup fit our ski schedule perfectly and gave us...

SBF was recommended by a co-worker. The owners Geoff and Chris are exactly like the other reviews, friendly and knowledgeable. They treat each guest like a new person to get to know and welcome into their home. They know the area well and make great recommendations for shopping, restaurants, hiking and other activities. We will be revisiting for certain!
