Burton Island State Park is a beautiful island for tent camping. A nice place to disconnected from electronics and enjoy the peacefulness of the island. There are plenty of hiking trails to beautiful spots on the island. Get a lean to site on the waterfront and enjoy amazing sun rises and sunsets. Book early.

The bathrooms are rustic, but they have running water. Bring lots of quarters for a hot shower. Grab a breakfast sandwich from the store or...

“Definitely try to get a site by the water. With all the rain this year, many of the sites were underwater!”
