Came up to Stowe for the weekend to get some last riding in. The area just got some fresh powder the night before. The lodge has a nice look from the outside and a quaint lobby area. I enjoyed their breakfast as well and the fire place. The rooms here were ok, even though the bathroom looks remodeled and is...

We booked two nights for a Stowe / Sugarbush mini vacation and were surprise on how nice this place is. It isn't the newest hotel available but it is all the small little extra touches which make it amazing including a generous breakfast, hot apple cider and cookies on check in and a nice pool / hot tip area for...

The place was perfect for what we were looking for. The room and bed were comfy. A delicious breakfast buffet was served on Saturday and Sunday - and was included in the rate. Unfortunately, we did not find the time to enjoy the pool and hot tub. We took a drive into town where there are some great shops and...

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Absolute best value in the area. The location is perfect between Stowe and the Mount Mansfield. The staff was very friendly and helpful to discover the area. The breakfast was so good. I will stay there again. I recommend this hotel.

Absolute best value in the area. Nice, clean rooms. Somewhat updated. Breakfast, hot tub, indoor pool, and sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great location. It was perfect for a weekend of skiing.

This place is great. VERY basic but it was also very clean and comfortable. The rooms are like the type of hotel I used to stay with in the 80's on family ski trips which is why I said it was retro - maybe nostalgic is a better word. No frills in the rooms. The beds were very comfortable, they...

So here's the deal. 1. Good new mattress 2. fresh sheets 3. Good water pressure in shower. 4. Well lit They don't make the beds. The bathroom is clean but small and very basic. Rooms could use a little decoration. But again this is basic economy so don't expect much. Walls are thin but not overly so. Admittedly I have...

You pay for what you get at the northern lights, the rooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast is good but it would be good if they offered dinner and a bar for guests. The owners are very friendly, this could be a very good hotel if it offered a little more.

The staff was very friendly, and the facilities are wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the pool after long days skiing. If I am in the Stowe area again (which I probably will be!), I will happily stay here again.

Very affordable bed for my first visit to Stowe. Great location, full breakfast, nice pool and tub I didn't use, great location. A little dated, but, so am I. Clean. Very friendly host, ready to help me with a new place to ski.
