We were a group of four guys on a hiking trip to Mount Mansfield. We rented a room with two double beds and on a per-person basis, the price offered good value. Breakfast buffet options were plentiful and varied - I especially liked the blueberry pancakes and the assortment of muffins. The major plus here is the availability of a...

The room was clean, the location great (a few miles to the trails), people who worked in the hotel were super friendly, the cookies and the hot apple cider in the afternoon-night were a great treat. Overall I would recommend this hotel, specially if you go to Stowe to ski, you can't go wrong with this hotel in terms of...

I loved the Northern Lights Lodge. We had a super comfy king room with plenty of space. There was also an inviting common area with coffee, hot cider and fresh cookies. Mike and Shannon were very helpful and offered advice regarding the local area and skiing. The breakfast was fantastic with hot buffet and more delicious home baking! There is...

I returned to this lodge for at least my 3rd Christmas and found it still a great value and a lovely place to stay. It is not fancy, but the rooms are clean and have everything you need. The breakfast is excellent (buffet style) and the location is close to the mountain. The inn keepers are helpful and eager to...

We had a great stay at northern lights lodge. Rooms were spacious with a beautiful view of the mountains. Minus 1 for the cobwebs. Apart from that all good. Awesome breakfast and of course great hosts. Do try the lemon muffins!

Older, but nicely kept lodge. Owners couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Clean comfortable bed and room. Nice breakfast selections, one of the best values in the area. Would definitely recommend and return. Short drive to downtown Stowe.

Greeted by the owner who was extremely friendly and helpful. My efficiency room was very clean and fully stocked with all amenities for cooking. Delicious breakfast buffet every morning with various choices. Indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, game room and laundry room made the lodge even better. Complimentary coffee and homemade cookies throughout the day was a wonderful touch. Will...

This was a really comfortable place to stay on our road trip. The owners Michael and Shannon were very welcoming and we got a free upgrade which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable and best of all was the cooked breakfast with plenty of choice. I imagine it would be very popular with...

We were unsure what to expect after reading the mostly positive but somewhat mixed reviews, so pulled up to this motel with trepidation. The very friendly owner's warm welcome assured us that all was well, but seeing our basic (but clean) room made us understand where other reviewers were coming from. This is a clean, very friendly motel - but...

This is a basic lodge which is in need of some refurbishment. The room had everything we needed but the furniture and decor was in need of some tlc and the room could have been cleaner with cobwebs in various places, stains on the curtains. Having said that, we slept well and the location of the lodge is good for...
