We used this inn as a base for 5 nights to explore the area and view the autumn colours. Both proved extraordinary. The inn is everything that a person who has spent a working lifetime "living" in mainstream city hotels dreams of finding. Firstly the owners, Lisa and Michael. They care. They care about their guests, they care about the...

We stayed at the Weathertop Mountain Inn over Veterans Day weekend this year. The place is lovely, even in the off season. We took one of the Chamber of Commerce Bed and Brews tours, and the owners of the inn were very accommodating. The rooms are lovely and tastefully decorated (no explosions of heart stencils or quilts) and very very...

This is not your old fashioned charming Vermont farmhouse. It is more of a ski lodge style -- which is convenient as it is very close to the Mad River ski areas. Although the inn seemed utilitarian to me at first, the experience grew on me, because the owners have thought of absolutely everything that you might need. For instance,...

We stayed at Weathertop Mountain Inn two summers ago for a week and liked it so well that we detoured this year just to spend a couple of nights there. Hosts Mike and Lisa are still on the job and still at the top of their game. Our room, the Robert Frost Room, decorated cheerily and restfully in Monet blue...

Very comfortable Inn with a delicious breakfast awaiting you in the morning. Hosts were very accommodating. Room was spacious and bathroom well appointed. Not your typical charming New England building but the inside was very nice.

Never having stayed at an inn, I was hesitant to book this one. My fears were relieved when we arrived to find a good sized room with our own bathroom and shower! I was concerned about noise but there were not many people there so it was quiet. We heard floorboards creaking but no voices or other noise. No tv...

I'm terrible at writing reviews but I wanted to take a moment to say how much I've enjoyed staying here (just stayed for a second time this past weekend). The owners have done a great job making the property into a comfortable and welcoming place. Rooms/beds/bathrooms/etc are of a good size, beds are comfortable, and I'm happy the owners resisted...

We stayed midweek at the Inn and were very pleased with how easy it was to get to Sugarbush Resort to ski. The rooms were on par with what you typically see at a country inn. As typical, there are no TVs in the room. They had several large areas to congregate to watch TV or play games. They do...
