My wife and I have stayed here previously and returned for breakfast while visiting family in the area. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is delicious! We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable and in a perfect location for seeing Weston and the rest of southern Vermont. During ski season you can easily get...

This was our fourth visit to the Inn over a 10 year period. The proprietors, Jeff and Kim give you a warm welcome that eases the travel exhaustion. The Inn's cozy living area is warmed in winter by a pellet stove and you share comfortable couches and arm chairs or a rocker with guests other guests. Beyond the human guests...

Friends asked me to meet them here and I am so glad I did.The motel rooms were comfortable and clean, the Inn is charming and they have a dog and 2 cats.I loved that and petted the black cat whenever I had the chance. The breakfasts were delicious and coffee is available earlier. They offer dinner on weekends and if they have enough...

Small hamlets on twisty country roads make for a charming ramble in rural Vermont and Weston is one such treasure. Besides the Vermont Country Store, it also has the Colonial House, a good place to rest up for a morning of fun shopping. There are two lodging options - rooms in the house and rooms in a motel-like annex. We...

The staff of the Colonial House Inn was very attentive, even adapting our room to make the bathroom handicap accessible. The room was simple, relatively quiet and comfortable for sleeping, if not a place one would want to hang out for the day. The breakfast was the best I have ever had in a B&B. Afternoon tea in the main...

I've never stayed in the B&B before, so I didn't know what to expect. The owner showed us around, Making sure we knew about our room how to work the TVs. They serve an ample breakfast, Very good. It was nice to visit with other people who were staying here.

I have been coming here each summer for the last 17 years and have enjoyed each time. It is a typical motel (the Inn rooms inside the B&B are also comfortable, I just do not like sharing a bathroom with other guests). The rooms are clean, but could probably benefit from a little updating in decor. The owners are very...

The place is 'rustic'....but charming (and clean)! When was the last time you were greeted at a hotel by your first name, a huge smile and a handshake. This hospitality never ended... The coffee/tea was fresh and hot whenever we wanted to go back and take a break from shopping etc. There were always outstanding cookies to go with it!...

Can't beat the price/value in the area, an okay B&B but probably the most "average" on our recent trip. Friendly helpful staff. But one of two beds was lumpy, forcing one to sleep crammed up against the wall. No air conditioning, horrible Internet service (available in common room and dining room, not in bedrooms), and maid service started cleaning the...

This B&B was on a nice piece of land with the mountains in the background. The person that showed us around could have not been nicer full of information about the place. The rooms however do need some sprucing up. The rugs have big pulls in them and the toilet in our room we could not even straight on it...
