We had a very good experience at the hotel, plus the price was outstanding. Very clean bedrooms, and the receptionist was always very helpful. I would love to come back again and enjoy the ski near by.

Happy New Year! I absolutely loved reading your review--Your appreciation of our staff, the Lobby fireplace, the comfort and decor of the rooms and the whole Hotel, and the little touches--like our Zollikofer Art Gallery, featuring the works of local artists. And the bowl of clementines was an especially nice touch! Hope you get to come stay with us again!

I would say "no" unless you liking walking about 5 miles each way. We've always had a rental car the four times we've stayed there.

"stay on the courtyard side not street side"
"Quieter rooms are located in the back. There is a bar on the side street next to the hotel which can get noisy."
