After fourteen years of taking the kids to the zoo, Disney World, and camping, my husband and I ran off for a grown up weekend; just the two of us. Our stay with Mary Pat and John at the Foxfield Inn could not have been any more blissful. The rooms were lovely, just as pictured. The grounds were peaceful, and...

We first visited the Foxfield Inn back in March 2003, and really enjoyed our stay. This year my birthday wish list included the item "Wife arranges a weekend away." Knowing how much we both enjoyed our last stay at Foxfield, my wife secretly contacted Mary Pat and arranged another visit. "Pleased" only begins to describe my delight at finding out...

This marked the first "vacation" my husband and I had had in many months. He'd been ill, then had successful surgery at the Univ. of Virginia Med Ctr., and goes down there every few weeks for follow up. We decided to make our stay here a "mini-getaway" in between drs. appointments. Everything about our stay -- absolutely everything -- was...

May Pat and John have done a wonderful job with their inn - the grounds were most relaxing and well-kept, replete with a two-person hammock, a hot-tub, and patio. The Inn itself was quiet, extremely well-kept and clean, and very peaceful. Mary Pat provided us with excellent dining and activity recommendations, which we followed nearly to the letter with great...

This place definately lived up to the pictures! It is absolutely beautiful and every little detail was well thought out. Loved the bathrooms - very spacious. I loved having the two-person jacuzzi tub, too. The food was great and so was the hospitality. Couldn't pick a better place. As a matter of fact, my husband and I rank this one...

Based on the recommendation of a friend, my sister, my niece and I needed to stay somewhere close to UVA, and we were lucky enough to have chosen the Foxfield Inn. The Foxfield Inn is owned by MaryPat and John, the wonderful hosts of the Foxfield Inn. They have thought of everything, from the beautifully decorated rooms, to excellent recomendations...

We absolutely loved the Foxfield Inn, we wished we could have stayed longer. We traveled through Charlottesville, for the start of our 1 year anniversary road trip and it was great!. We were upgraded because it was our anniversary, the rooms were great and the breakfast food was fabulous. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in...

My wife and I recently stayed at the Foxfield Inn on our wine tasting vacation in Charlottesville and we have nothing but great things to say. Mary Pat and John, the owners of the Foxfield Inn, were wonderful hosts. Our room was so comfortable and charming, we didn't want to leave it. The breakfast that we had each morning was...

Mary Pat and John were just as advertised, polite, accommodating and generally wonderful. We are always a little suspect when we see such great reviews with no negatives, but the FoxField Inn truly is the exception to our rule. From the onset Mary Pat and John made every attempt to ensure that we would have everything we needed, prior to...

The FoxField Inn made our vacation an 'experience', not just a vacation! All the amenities of home . . . plus more. The room we stayed in - the Hunt Country room - was perfect. From the poster bed to the Bose radio to the fresh flowers. But, it was the little 'extras' that made it especially nice: bottled water...
