Pleasant place to spend a night. Not much around for dining, but that's not what I was looking for. Beautiful area and very relaxing. Friendly staff and nice selection for breakfast. Blue Ridge Parkway is close as well as lots of historic structures.

I don't know why but as I understand it, the current owners are the same people who ran it when it was a Hampton Inn. I've heard complaints that the breakfast wasn't was great as it used to be and as I believe I said in my review, when I was there recently they had a problem with their WiFI, but I had a great stay there and will be returning. Hope that helps.
