Our stay at the Hope and Glory Inn was a five star experience from start to finish. The owners Peggy and Dudley are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've ever met, I truly can't say enough nice things about them. They were a perfect mix of professional and approachable and made our comfort their top priority. Our... More

The charm and authenticity of this inn and the innkeepers is really unprecedented. This is a gorgeous part of the country and the Hope and Glory is a special special place. Not a single detail has been neglected. It is a bonus that it is also a bed and breakfast and the food was delicious. We loved the attention to... More

My now-husband and I spent a weekend at Hope & Glory back in May. We had reserved cottage 2, but we were upgraded to the larger cottage 1 when we checked in. The cabin was just the right size (bathroom is small, but what can you do?) and afforded ample privacy. We borrowed the Inn's bikes and explored the area,... More

When I planned to visit the Northern Neck, I poked around for places to stay. Hope and Glory Inn immediately came up in searchers. First thing you notice, the mountain of rave reviews and awards this place has won. I worried the stay would not match the hype. Thankfully, this place was as advertised. Beautifully decorated house and grounds. So... More

Our family of 7 adults and 1 toddler gathered for the weekend at the Hope & Glory Inn to celebrate "Grandpa's" 65th birthday. We actually stayed in one of the vineyard "Tents" which is actually a lovely, full-equipped, 3-story cottage between the vineyard and a woodsy area. Peggy and Dudley Patterson could not have been any more welcoming, gracious, and... More

From the moment we called to make our reservation to when we drove away, we were warmly greeted, welcomed and made to feel like the most important people on the planet. We booked a small room and the host apologized saying the on line info. really did not describe the room fairly and upgraded us to their best suite. Very clean property and great breakfasts. Nice location to the water and other points of interest.

We stayed in Room 2 in the school house. Beautiful accommodations. We were greeted by Peggy and Dudley who both made to feel as special guests from go. The no detail was unnoticed.
