What a delight! We stayed here overnight with friends. A warm welcome from the staff. Our room was well prepared, we have fresh milk, ground coffee and home made biscuits. Dinner was delicious and exceptional value. But best of all was breakfast, we were served by lovely ladies who couldn't do enough for us. This hotel is a gem.

Myself and my husband stayed for 3 nights in August,we stayed in a junior suite and was on half board basis. The hotel setting is very relaxing, quiet and tranquil . The room was ok , I have stayed in better, the bed creaked constantly each time you turned over and the shower had a gap at the bottom that... More

Thank you for your review. I see you stayed with us in August, since which time, as you see below, there have been changes. Also the bed in your room and shower were fixed in September, when other guests pointed out directly to us the issues you mention 3 months after your stay.... if you had told us about the... More

We were looking forward to our third visit to Plas Bodegroes as it is a couple of years since we were last here. We arrive to be greeted in a somewhat casual and rather amateurish manner. Our Junior Suite was fine in many ways, if in need of a little tlc and more care with the details, also noisy as... More

Make no mistake, Plas Bodegroes is a beautiful setting as you slowly roll up the narrow drive flanked by sheep grazing in trip adviser green fields your expectations can only be raised if they are not already pretty high from the price. A lovely welcome from friendly staff made us feel right at home and the walk through the covered... More

Thank you for your review - I note that you stayed in August. We replaced our management staff at the beginning of September and we hope that, as the two reviews below testify, we have made improvements! Amongst other things we now serve back bacon again, as we did for 30 years, as well as crispy streaky! More

Just got home after a couple of days stay. We know what we like and this is why we return to Plas BG every year. A beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean with lovely staff who go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. The beds are so comfy and the showers lovely and hot. Little details such as fresh milk and homemade biscuits in your room every day are a lovely touch! Thank you to all at Plas Bodegroes!

Fantastic food, different to the previous Chef but equally as good. Fantastic fish course expertly cooked. We will return as we have done for the last 25 years! Well worth the journey from Manchester. The room was fantastic, children and dog friendly with a great breakfast to finish the stay.

Beautiful, comfortable hotel - very relaxing. Dinner and breakfast both beautifully presented and tasty. Altogether excellent. We particularly liked the little courtyard which had a Mediterranean feel, unfortunately not matched by the weather.

We have stayed at this hotel a year ago and enjoyed it so much we decided to return. We were warned that the hotel owners had handed the management of the hotel over to a new couple. We stayed this time in a nice room overlooking the gardens. The bathroom was well appointed. The food was very good but the... More

The new husband and wife team in charge at Plas Bodegroes have combined relaxed French elegance and professionalism with warm Welsh hospitality and Mchelin quality food. We enjoyed a three night stay in a comfortable and spacious "Junior Suite" in one of the attic rooms and the dinner, bed and breakfast package was excellent value. Dinner each evening was wonderful;... More
