Front desk personnel seemed incompetent. My reservation was handled incorrectly from the very first phone call--i.e., wrong days reserved, only one bed when asked for two, and mishandled credit card # among other things. I ended up calling 3 different times and talking with 4...More

While it is very challenging to hear that a guest's experience fell below our typical high standards for the hotel, feedback from our guests is invaluable in helping us to ensure that future guests do not encounter the same concerns. We were sorry to hear...More
I am unable to stand in a shower/tub due to age and arthritis. Requested shower chair and was told that none were available in entire motel. If their 3 handicapped rooms are full, no other provisions for safety are provided. One safety bar in tub...More

Thank you for being our guest and thank you for providing us with feedback on your stay. As with most hotels, we do have a number of handicap accessible rooms available for guests. We apologize that each of these rooms had been reserved prior to...More
Nice updated rooms. I’m a big one for clean and spot free carpets. For a traveler’s hotel, it was very clean. Good breakfast with plenty of southern comfort food. I found my oatmeal. Wish they had some more fruit choices than apples. Maybe some raisins,...More

While we are pleased to know that you enjoyed our Bright Side Breakfast™ and that you found the majority of our hotel and guest rooms to be notably clean. We are disappointed to learn of the oversight regarding the cleanliness of the tub in your...More
We were in town for the ignite Mens Conference, and we decided to stay at this hotel. The rooms were very nice and clean, although there was a red stain on the carpet and the Telephone did not work when I tried to phone the...More

We stayed on a Saturday night; the hotel was not nearly full, maybe half-booked. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a king bed room. The lobby level is floor 2. The hotel is very nice with a large lobby/breakfast area, and a better than average breakfast menu than most LQ's. I remarked to my wife how quiet the hotel was; there was zero room to room noise, and I don't remember any hall noise at all. I would not hesitate booking this hotel again.

I just called the front desk for you and spoke with the receptionist named Princess. She told me the minimum age is 18. You do typically have to have a credit card to make a reservation. Also check the calendar. If you select a weekend where there is a campus event going on such as College For A Weekend or something like that, hotel rooms (in any hotel in Lynchburg) are very difficult to find, usually taking 4 to 6 months advance reservation. I love the La Quinta in Lynchburg and have stayed there many times.
