On a recent visit to see family, in my hometown of Lynchburg, my wife and I stayed at the Craddock Terry Hotel as part of a birthday surprise for me. Having grown up in Lynchburg in the 70's and 80's, boutique/luxury hotels were non-existent in the City, so as a native, an architect, and a world traveler, I was very...

I checked in, and the rooms were small, the power went off and on and the water heater didn't work when we needed it. The staff were rude, except for one person at the desk, she was blonde and very sweet. One of the staff told me not to speak to a guest so rude, but I was a guest...

Only stayed one night on November 21 night. The room was very roomy and nice. I had a 4th floor room with a toilet next to the outside window. Only complaint about that is, the bathroom was pretty cold compared to the main guest room. For longer stays, I would like to have a microwave oven in the room but...

Do not be fooled by the outside of the hotel. This former shoe factory has been transformed into a boutique hotel with amazing luxury and excellent service. Staff is super helpful at checkin and the rooms are absolutely huge. I wanted to take the bed home, because it was so comfy. Large screen tv, comfy robe which you can buy...

Let's start with the good. The hotel is very well decorated. It's an old shoe factory so picture brick walls with modern decor. The hotel staff are all friendly and there to help you with anything or any problem you have. Jessica at the front desk was wonderful. Now lets get to the bad. The hotel has two buildings. One...

We chose this award winning upscale hotel because it is so unique & we were not disappointed. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. Knowing in advance this hotel is located near railroad tracks, we asked for a more quiet king bed room. We were in the area of the hotel located near the front parking lot. We...

I am quite indifferent about this hotel. Everything was ok without anything being exceptional. Our King room faced the car parking area which was preferable to the opposite side facing the great silos. I don't think any rooms have a nice view. The river is on the other side of the railway track, so I doubt that it is visible...

This is a beautiful and stylishly hip boutique hotel placed in a former shoe factory. Extremely comfortable beds, very modern yet funky décor. We loved it and plan to go back asap. We live in Lexington and stay overnight at the Craddock Terry so that we can eat and drink at Shoemaker's Restaurant next door without having to drive home...

This hotel was an old Shoe Factory and Warehouse. It has been converted into a very unique hotel with stone and brick walls and beams from the old building as decor. Shoe themes abound. The best touch is Buster Brown, the hotel dog you can take for a walk. The staff is great. Two wonderful restaurants are on premises. A...
