This is a B&B with 22 rooms and a history dating from 1797. It's located in a small town near the intersection of I-66 and I-81, and is only about a mile from the highway. But it's easy to imagine you've gone back at least 100 years, because you're in an old-style inn with Civil

Mmm, the Wayside Inn, what to say. Do you really like old houses? Low ceilings, undulating glimmering wide plank floors. Flowered wallpaper, Colonial posted beds. Innkeepers and staff that seem way to much like family. Don’t forget your small dogs, they’re family too. Historical

That window should be room 15 where we got an eerie feeling that night.
Up and around those stairs are room 1 & 2.
Cozy room
The inn does not have rooms on the 1st floor. Entering through the Main Enterance is 1 step up and the dinning room is at your safe level. Pub side has many step up & downs.

At the time of my visit in March, the restaurant was open Wed.-Sunday. The owner mentioned that he was trying to staff up in order to be open 6-7 nights. If your planned visit is for Monday or Tuesday night, you could give them a call and ask about the schedule for the restaurant. We ate at an Irish Pub style restaurant just two blocks down the street from the Inn.

Yes we do have rooms to accommodate your reunion. Sorry for the delay in this reply, we have been having some "technical" difficulties. You may give us a call here at the Inn at (540) 869-1797 and ask to speak to Becky Reeves or David Carper about your event. We look forward to better serving you in the future.
