Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lot of unexploited potential...good location, spacious rooms, modern bathroom, nice wooden floor rather than the usual carpet HOWEVER...sleeping is a nightmare due to the noise from the aircon (mainly from the next building separated only about 1m from my window), the clea ning was a problem and, although friendly, the communication with the staff can be very difficult. Good training opportunity if you have a room on the third floor as there is no lift.

😊 stayed here 4 nights, don't be put off by outside appearance, inside great place nothing negative to say, rooms very good size, big comfortable bed, everything clean and well cared for, shower always hot, good thick towels, furniture good quality, a/c best i have ever had, staff friendly and polite, wifi we found very good, no food served but plenty places on your door step, beautiful clean sandy beach only a few minutes walk away across the road. no lift so stairs could be a problem for some, street parking only but we found no problem,, certainly in our view good value for money., we would certainly stay again

Upon arrival at hotel we discovered that we had accidentally booked our room for March 26th rather than February 26th. We had booked through Agoda and did not recheck the final date. The website continually changed the the month by default. After begging and pleading with the Receptionist we were told that it was too complicated to change the date even though there were vacancies advertised on the street. She said we would have to do it through Agoda. After numerous attempts to change the date on their website we learned that we could only really change the date by paying for an additional more expensive date and not receiving any credit for the date that we wouldn’t be needing 1 month later. The hotel also then said that we could book another day through them at an inflated rate but they wouldn’t give any credit for the day we wouldn’t need 1 month later because it was too complicated. We were pretty much forced to pay since we were there with all our bags. They then said they would like us to cancel our day 1 month later so they could resell it? I found that to be very complicated to comply with. When we went to our assigned room it was overlooking the noisy front street with a window that wounding close. It had a very hard and lumpy bed had broken hinges on the closet and our TV didn’t work. I can’t recommend this hotel.

To minutes walk to the beach and the restaurants. 7/11 next door Clean, fresh bathroom. The bed was rock hard!!😁 Staff was service minded. If you need a sim card it's a AIS shop selling sim card 200 meters left of the hotel I paid 100 bht for unlimited data for 15 days. See the last photo😁

Pros: This hotel is located across from the White Sand Beach Rooms were spacious with good hot running water. Air conditioner was working fine. Few previous reviews mentioned about poor air conditioning but we had no issue! Reception lady both of them were very friendly! Cons: No breakfast but for the price they offered, you can’t really complain!! Recommended for short 2 night stays for those who don’t expect 5 star service! Good value for money!!

Many typical Swedish reviews with a lot of complainments about this hotel. Okey they have no pool, no gym and no lift but you can see all of this in every booking sites when you make your reservation, so try to read the hotel information next time. This hotel has excellent and big rooms. We had a smell of something strange in our room but we only felt it when we entered and then it was gone after ten seconds. It's a clean and comfortable budget hotel with reasonable prices. The beach is like 20 seconds away so I think you can make that walk. We travelled with our baby and his stroller, which we could leave down in the lobby. The Wi-Fi is slow but works if you just want to read your daily news and so on. The aircondition was good.

Great location the hotel is well situated but................. as other TA reviewers agree the hotel requires some improvement! We paid a little more and stayed in a deluxe room, lots of space, quiet, at the back of the hotel however, the shower was shocking, no water pressure and hardly warm! The shower drain was also very slow to clear. We complained at the front desk but nothing was done to rectify the shower, no real acknowledgement and no apology! Worst still the bed sheets were stained, they were washed but even so...... not nice! Don't think we would stay here again even for the location!

For SGD$50 per night (high season), this is probably one of the cheapest I have found on the internet. Just the hotel opposite this place was like twice the amount. One bad thing is that this hotel as no lift and I stayed on the top floor. So I arrived at 3pm, rested awhile and went out to be treated with a majestic sight of the sun set! Highly recommended!

Have stayed here 4 times since I noticed it back in 2009. I have always loved its great location, across the road from White Sand Beach with great views of the whole resort from its communal roof top balcony. No restaurant in hotel but 7/11 and loads of restaurants and bars all practically on its doorstep. Rooms still quiet enough to get a good nights sleep. The rooms are spacious with big beds and lovely shower area with glass walls (but do have blinds to save our modesty and privacy). It is a nice hotel. However for the first time since going to this hotel the aircon was useless both in my room and the other room my party was sleeping in. The beds seem too hard also. Coupled with poor aircon, sleeping was honestly a nightmare. The free wifi is just a joke as it does not work in any room (same thing every year). Service from reception is not great as staff don't seem interested. And there is no security at night but I felt totally safe in the White Sand Beach area by night. I would never have considered not staying here in previous visits, however after this visit I am thinking of biting the bullet and paying at least double and try and stay somewhere else. It maybe just be a blip as my previous visits were very good. So not sure yet. If they sort aircon out atleast then I think it is still worth staying, all things considered.
