We loved our short stay here. The owner, Gerry, is wonderful and his pancake breakfast is the best we had on our trip! We loved this place because it is clean, well located, has a pool and the rooms were cool. Beyond all of that is is a beautiful spot! Gerry was also very helpful in recommending places to eat,...

It was a pleasure to serve. Hope you enjoy the rest of your adventure and recommend Nicaragua to others!

Gerry who runs the place is super helpful. Free tea, cereals, milk, pancakes etc etc. The place is beautiful. 5 stars. Note that I dont think the hotel has hot water showers which is quite common in Nicaragua it seems. So if this is your thing then ask before hand.

Thank you very much for your kind remarks and taking time out to write a review. All our rooms do come with hot water, with the exception of our basic doubles. Should guests wish for extra amenities they are available, but they do come at an extra cost!

Great location, spacious rooms, clean, nice plunge pool. Gerry makes this place great. Many options. Optional AC. Nice patio to watch street scene. Park right in front if you have a car. Gerry arranges great activities that are different than other tour operators as well if you take advantage of his knowledge. Ask him about local Nicaragua pirate history!

We love this guesthouse - it's centrally located, quiet, beautiful and clean. There are so many things to mention - from the hospitality to the free homemade pancakes for breakfast every day, the great recommendations of Gerry and the refreshing beautiful pool in the yard! They offer free water, cereals, popcorn, coffee, tea and bikes. We had to extend our...

As a family guesthouse, we try to keep it with in a fair budget price for families as expense can run high in other establishments. We are happy you enjoyed your stay and hopefully when the kids get older and independent they will come back and see us again. PS..let them know that as a returning guest they would get...

We stayed two nights in casa del agua and loved it! The location is perfect to discover the city, the rooms are very clean, there is a kitchen and a welcoming common area. Gerry, the owner is a great host, offers free advise and sometimes pancakes and really cares about his lovely place!

Very good accommodation with a very friendly host who has a lot of information and capability to book you on all kinds of trips. The kitchen/living area makes it very personal and easy to meet people. Also it is right in the centre of town so everything is really close.
