A super fun place, I only stayed one night, but wish I spent at least 2. The staff were really friendly, and the location was amazing. During the day it was really chilled out, and during the evening it was wild... It could be even cooler if they had more stuff during the day, like yoga classes.

This is the coolest setting and is a stop every backpacker should make. Free shuttle from town center, and the adventure begins! Try the live music night or dance parties on the weekend. Fun people, decent jungle prices and this IS a sustainable business model. The sounds of the jungle... sometimes a howler monkey right by your hammock might be...

Cheers Dharma! good to hear you enjoyed yourself, the main thing we want is for people to enjoy their jungle visit.... Those howler monkeys are excellent alarm clocks at times...like it or not haha

I love hostels, so I've stayed at a bunch of them while traveling. Now I have a FAVORITE! This is simply the most unique place I've stayed at with the most incredible vibes! They provide free rides to the Treehouse from the Central Park in Granada, which was a very convenient meeting point. We were there on a Thursday night,...

The place is beautiful and the vibe is ok but we found at least 15 bed bugs in our room! Our friends in the room beside us found some too so Its safe to say the place is infested! When we told the staff they said they fumigate the place every week but by experience I can tell you that's...

We were expecting this review as you threatened us with it the night you were there.... Your group were maybe the most unreasonable customers we ever had in The Treehouse..... Congrats! To start with you demanded I stopped playing a live show in the middle of my live set on our Open Mic Night to talk about your problem. which...

This place is a cool, fun place to hang out, enjoy nature and party at night. We had a great time. We slept in a hammock, its a must try! I would recommend one night only for those less inclined to using an out house for a longer period of time.

Nice honest review, thanks for taking the time. we are closed to do a whole lot of renovations to make it as comfortable as possible, unfortunately we do not have running water (being on a jungle volcano) so the drop composting toilets are the best we can offer :) safe travels amigo!

This place probably has the best vibe in Granada, all due to the cool staff and location. Admittedly you should be prepared for the "trek" to the top, and back down but it is all worth it. It closes for Sept- Oct but reopens in Nov. Thanks John, Jamie, Chloe and Chistoph xx

Hey Nook! thanks for the kind words, we all miss you and hope you're travelling well - the path just got a lot better, we have installed a bunch of new rails and lighting to get people up there safe.... but the climb will always be a thing I imagine. (unless we get enough electricity for a chair lift) :)

Beautiful set up in the jungle, lovely staff and absolutely cracking parties in the night. Free shuttles back and forth to Granada central are really useful. Different homemade dinners each night. Cheers John for a great stay and best of luck with the place.

Where do I even start. I wanted to check out the Treehouse as I had heard so many good things about it and it most definitely didn't disappoint. First I took the free shuttle from the central park in Granada and once I arrived to the Treehouse there was a 5-10min hike/walk up the hill depending on where you are...

I loved the idea of the treehouse hostel in the middle of nowhere. Be prepared for a hike because it is pretty strenuous if you have been travelling all day. The party got insanely crazy and they had probably over 100 people on the treehouse. My biggest concern is that there were A LOT of people and some of the...

Thanks for the review, We just finished installing new steel and bamboo handrails from the dorm to the bar area which are very much "drunk proof", the area you must be talking about is further down towards the entry - The Treehouse has basically been a re-build project correcting and improving on the work from the previous management - of...

I loved my 2 night stay at the Treehouse. This hostel says what it does on the tin, it's a treehouse in the jungle, a half hour free shuttle from Granada. The dorms I stayed in were very simple but nice with a wooden theme. To get to the actual treehouse part you have to climb up the hill a...

Akira it was a pleasure having you hang in the jungle with us, You're not wrong about those shots - I'm sure I witnessed you drink 10 of them in the space of an hour.... I was pretty impressed actually. We are still working to improve all aspects of the Treehouse & appreciate comments which help us raise the standard....
