Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My friends and myself had the most wonderful holiday in Maison 225. Declan and Sharon were amazing hosts and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. They were extremely knowledgeable about the local area which we enjoyed visiting. We also loved relaxing by the pool. Everything was spotless and the breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to go back.I thoroughly recommend staying at Maison 225.

I had a fantastic holiday last week in Prades, staying in Maison 225 run by Sharon and Declan. The house, food, hospitality and kindness were above and beyond our expectations. The town and surrounding areas (particularly the Pyrenees & some very pretty towns) are all well worth a visit. I went for a week with 7 friends and we are all hoping to return next year.

Everything just so good.We had the suite with an amazing view of the Canigou mountain, breakfast was excellent and consisted of fruits in greek yoghirt, croissants and bread, eggs, danish pastrirs, and coffee, tea and juice. The hosts were so welcoming and accomodating. Perfect place to stay in the region.

Lovely B&B run in a thoroughly professional manner but retaining the personal touch. Rooms are well equipped and immaculately clean. You are welcomed as an old friend, cold beer and wine in the fridge is offered and the outdoor pool is inviting and, of course, thoroughly clean. Breakfast is a most pleasurable experience with home cooked bread available. Compote of yoghurt with fresh fruit and museli is perfect to set you up for the day. Reasonable prices for such excellence. It is the second time I have stayed and it is quite likely that I will stay again, and it appears that there are many other returning guests so that says it all.

We loved our stay here! The accommodation was lovely, the garden and pool area was pretty and extremely tranquil, and the hosts went out of their way to make our stay perfect. Couldn’t fault it and will definitely return if we’re in the area.

I visited Maison 225 with two friends mid August, the bnb was first class, very well kept and great value for money. Sharon & Declan couldn’t have been more helpful, they were great “craic” and were very generous with the supply of wine & beer! Would highly recommend and will definitely be back soon

We spent 5 lovely nights at Maison 225 and would really recommend it! Lovely rooms, great breakfast and so helpful and kind owners! We travelled with a baby and had the terrace suite, perfect when staying up talking while the baby is a sleep.

We stayed for 7 nights and could easily have stayed longer. Sharon and Declan were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Their knowledge of the local restaurants and places to visit was superb. The room was stylishly decorated and despite the very hot weather the room remained cool thanks to the shutters and curtains during the day. Breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. Starting with Sharon's muesli, followed by a choice of croissants accompanied by preserves, cheese and ham, home made cakes and pastries and unlimited coffee or tea. The pool was very welcoming at the end of a day out, a perfect way to relax. We would not hesitate to return if we are in the area again.

This place was simply awesome! We spent four lovely nights in the Prades area, and Maison 225 began to feel like home. The owners are friendly and generous with their time. We observed them communicating in three languages, and we received lots of recommendations from them that were always wonderful. The entire property is beautiful, and the location is perfect, including easy street and onsite parking. Also, there is a generous, delicious breakfast, and every detail of a guest's needs have been taken into consideration. If anything, we wished we could stay even longer, and I know we will be returning!
