This unique hotel has so much to offer. The beach and miles of walking combined with a great pool. Couldn't find the towels- found out you are supposed to bring them from your room. We had an excellent meal here with towers of seafood all fresh and so well presented. This restaurant has an extensive wine list. A great combination... More

The hotel offers direct access to the beach and great sea views The facility is modern, good bathrooms and the windows can open. Pleasant staff at the reception desk. Free on site parking. That is where the good news end. The hotel restaurant offers good views but not good food. Unremarkable mackerel appetizer was followed by a tasteless dry white fish.... More

2 days, one night...........well, not really: check in is at 4 pm and check out at 11 am........i have never encountered this and i thought it was a bit too much. Even if they can be a little flexible, it puts some pressure on the weekend that is supposed to be about loosing track of time. This cost them one... More

We spent a romantic weekend here, and this privately owned boutique hotel lends itself perfectly for such occasions. We had sea view from our room (above the entrance) where the evening sun shines right into your bed. From the indoors pool one can exist in a bathrobe to the dune and have a walk at the beach. The included restaurant... More

Luxury hotel in a seaside setting among the dunes on charming Île d'Oléron; stunningly beautiful modern architecture; very helpful and accommodating staff; excellent food and selection of wines; and gorgeous sea views from comfortable, sleek modern rooms.

Beautifully situated, nestling in the dunes, 20 yards from endless beaches with massive tides and interesting history. Made for walkers who like drifting along the shoreline, taking in the distant horizon and examining contemporary 'peche a pied' and 'ecluses de peche', amongst many other natural and historical phenomena (we even saw a wild boar swimmimg in the sea!). Modern (1960s)... More

Dear Mister and Madam LIDDANE, Thank you for your touching recommendation and your coming in our establishment, it was a great pleasure to welcome you. Must be the best hotel on the Island, great service, great owners (the lady of the house runs the hotel/her husband runs the restaurant), amazing views, enough parking in front of the hotel and all rooms have been remodeled . Nice indoor pool, privacy in the garden and only a 1 minute walk from the beach . The restaurant is... More

I have little experience of a 4 star hotel- but I believe this ticked all the boxes. Comfortable room with tea and coffee, fridge, TV, hair drier, bath robes and slippers etc... The bed was super comfortable and the shower was great (called an Italian shower, so I'm told) Indoor pool, gym and jacuzzi (not working) all available too. Restaurant... More

First the good things, the hotel is very clean the bed was comfortable, our room had a lovely sea view. The food was good and the restaurant staff were charming and efficient. We loved this hotel - and will certainly come back.
