We really loved our stay and were utterly charmed by the female concierge and wowed by the views. This is a budget option, no doubt, but clean, quiet, and a cut above in terms of amenities (there was climate control and toiletries, plus a private bathroom, & we wished we'd tried the restaurant, which looked very good and also had... This place was a welcome surprise - was concerned only being a 2 star but the value and location were terrific. We only stayed one night but given the plethora of great restaurants we could've stayed a few nights easily. We had been hiking from town to town so it was awesome to see the other hilltop towns we hiked... More

The view is the main thing about staying here. It's incredible. The room is in need of refurbishment, as is the bathroom - which leaked. The owner was very friendly though. Walk 2 mins to Le Wine Club and have some amazing wine!

Our stay in this hotel was comfortable, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was fantastic. We stayed in the annex section; the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom clean, and the view from the window beautiful! This is a really special town, with friendly people, great restaurants and beautiful views!

We were immediately greeted with a smile by the woman at the front desk, and a tail wag from her friendly dog. She showed us everything in the room and hotel, and even provided us an ice bucket and glasses for the bottle of rose we had with us! But the best part, was the view from our patio!!! Full... More

The food at hotel Cesar was nothing short of a surprise. Yes, in France, in Provence but I did not expect this quality from le Menu du Jour 24 euros for a delicious 3 course meal, served with a recommended organic white wine. Better than in some Parisian Hotels. Breakfast was the same a smorgasbord of croissants, pain au chocolate,... More

This hotel is slightly quirky, with a welcoming hostess, stunning views from the bedrooms, comfortable beds and very decent showers. There is no lift, and there are lots of stairs, as the building is very spread out. Bedroom furniture and bathroom goodies are pretty basic, but if you want a comfortable place to stay for a couple of nights this... More

This hotel has the best view of the Luberon valley (period). We visited Menerbes and Gordes as well, and none compare to the view this hotel has. The service is outstanding (they ask that you arrive before 6 PM to check in). There is no elevator here so you need to carry your bags up. The rooms are relatively good... More

We stayed here in April and wow what a view. The lady owner was very welcoming and we enjoyed our Perrier on the terrace...before indulging at dinner. We had a lovely room and a great visit here. I think if in the area it is worth staying here.

L'Hotel Cesar provides everything necessary to ensure your trip to Provence is a memorable and successful experience. The hotel balcony and view from the restaurant is one of the most breath taking and beautiful landscapes that my family and I have ever seen. The restaurant prepares meals cooked with fresh ingredients and they are outstanding. When you come down the... More
